Creative Writing: Life As A Basketball
.... After a couple of hours I didn't think I was gonna survive.
Somehow I managed to survive for the rest of the day. Then when I get home
I figure safe at last but oh no the stupid kid just had to tell his mom
that I was getting to old. So the mom just throws me in the garbage, so
right now I'm sitting in a garbage Truck. I could just kill that kid, man
people have such nerve.

Winning The Lottery
.... be to win, but it will
never happen.
As we sat there on the couch, the lottery came on the TV. Suddenly silence
fell over both of us as they started the machine that holds all the lottery
balls, my adrenaline started pumping, as I sat there with anticipation.
When the first ball came rolling out my heart jumped into my throat the
number was six, then the second number rolled up and it was seven another
one right then nine, eleven, thirteen. My spouse and I looked at each other
in complete silence, we both knew that they had called five of our numbers
and there was one left to go. It seemed as an eternity before that last
ball c .....

Personal Writing: Life Is A White Water River
.... on my way, and,
of course, the river can give me the ultimate thrill of knowing that I have
managed to succeed the dastardly rough-waters. then, as the water begins
to flow smoothly again, I can relax and cherish the experience, and
anticipate the dangers and hard work that lie ahead.

Personal Writing: My Most Memorable Experience
.... seemed to complain, so I attempted to ignore the issue
by putting myself to sleep.
Over 45 minutes had past before I was awaken so abruptly by the
grasp of my dad large hand on my shoulder. "Time for lunch!" quaintly said
with a jolly cheer hidden deep in his voice. One after another we trickled
from the car, emptying quite quickly. I took a large deep breath of what I
assumed would be fresh air. Instead, I coughed. The air wreaked of
exhaust and was dry, concentrated with dust. It was my fault I hadn't
observed the large sign reading "Trucking Pit Sto". The letter "p"
appeared to missing from the sign, and as I contem .....

Personal Writing: Getting Out
.... had
a wedding ot attend. Nathan worked from eight'o clock untill five thirty
as a hired hand. I worked a virity of hours at the Dariy Queen usually
over lunch and supper, which is when Nathan did not work. By the time we
finished playing the messages game, we dicided to take our things to the
apartment when we had time to go to Ankeny.
Nathan and I had to by at DMACC on the same day for a financial aid
seminar. So, we planned to help each other take the thins up to the
apartment. Lucky for me he had already taken all of his heavy furniture on
a previous visit. I had a hide-a-bed couch, a love seat, a desk, and other

Personal Writing: My Best Friend Radar
.... The air is
filled with smell of the fresh grass. I share with him all the news I had
gotten up to that time. And then, finally, splitting the air impregnated
with spring, we rush along across the field into the distance, into the
perspective, into nowhere. I feel the power of my reliable friend, while
holding onto his black mane. The speed, moving the bodies in time,
breathing - all of these merge into one, indivisible, something uncathable,
like a sweet dream.
That is the most powerful feeling I have ever experienced.
There is nothing as exciting as riding a horse. I cannot think of a
friend who could be as devoted to me as .....

Personal Writing: My Big Problem
.... about.
Another thing I could do is simply help her whenever she does
anything wrong. But the problem is, she does practically everything wrong.
That can get very annoying, and could spark a match. And then I'm back to
square one. One other problem I have with this solution is that virtually
every time I try to talk to her, we get separated by my parents, who are
always expecting something, and are simply sick of all the garbage.
My third and final reasonable solution, would be to sit down with
her and have a ‘mono a sister' talk with her. Now she's not the most
understanding person, and needs to be explained things over a .....

Personal Writing: My First Murder
.... a dignified and noble
creature. Anyway, the life was a squirrel's and the weapon was a Crossman
pellet rifle. The weapon was a Christmas present, the squirrel was not
included.
Upon reaching my grandparents' farm for Christmas dinner (lunch for
those of you not raised in the country), I set out after my adversary. Any
adversary would have sufficed, but it was the squirrel's bad luck that I
found it first. Actually, I really was not the one to find the squirrel.
Accompanying me on my brief safari was my father and Lady, a lassie-
looking collie and God-knows-what-else mix who fancied herself a terrier.
Lady found the squirrel, whi .....

Creative Writing: My Idea Of Where The Heck Life Came From
.... Pentagon and NASA have quoted that they have found bone
fragments of what appear to be little creatures resembling monkeys, and
also these balls of hair with an unknown origin. Really. I Promise. Want
more proof? Remember that face on Mars? The one in the Cydonia basin next
to the pyramids and the martian airport? If you look at the face cross-eyed
and crooked it looks like a cat!
In conclusion, I believe that my theory of the origin of life
should be investigated further. Who knows; it just could be true! Everyone
has their own thoughts and ideas of where life came from; except for the
ones that aren't very imaginative and stic .....

Personal Writing: If I Could Meet Three People, I Would Meet....
.... As the
results of these facts, Marco Polo became the first person I wish to meet.
Galileo Galilei, an outstanding scientist in mid fifteenth century
is the second person I would like to meet. Galilei is not just a physicist
according to the resource I found, he however is also a astronomer. His
ability to manage time to do good job on both fields of physic and
astronomy became the first reason I chose to see Galilei. Second, his
bravery to speak up for what he believe of is another impression I had of
him. During the time he tried to prove his theories, there were punishments
for those who spoke against the church and had dif .....

Personal Writing: My Personal Opinion About Alien Life
.... I find a bit strange is that the NASA announced the
discovery just before the government decided where to place its annual
funds. Makes you wonder if the announcement was not "rushed" a little. If
that is what it takes for the government invest more money into space and
SETI (Search for extra-terrestrial intelligence) programs than I thank the
NASA personally.
Sky is not the limit anymore and the stars are our future. As long as
we are on earth our future is not guarantied; any second a meteorite could
crash and destroy everything we created, thousands of years of effort and
accumulating wisdom almost all for nothing. We s .....
