Personal Writing: Ten Minute Ride
.... lazy. Yet it's not really a physical laziness, but more of a
mental one. He, as much as anyone else, enjoyed going out with his friends
to parties, or as he got older, to bars, and have a good time and relax.
But he did this often, and probably too often. His first year at college
was spent in England, where he subsequently failed to make any of his
classes and thus flunked out. His second semester was spent roaming around
Europe. I am not sure if he returned to school that semester or not; it was
a rather touchy subject and we never talked about it. The later years he

Creative Writing: Terror On Halloween
.... one of those chocolate things near the fridge", Sal replied. Jess
turned and went back down the stairs into the kitchen to find the bars.
"Are you still there boys?", she yelled. But there was no reply. Jess
stopped and went back to the front door. To her surprise the boys had
vanished and there was no sign of them. Fine she thought to herself at
least it saves two more chocolate bars for me.
Suddenly Jess heard a voice but she didn't know what it said or where it
was coming from. "Is somebody there?", Jess inquired taking a huge gulp
at the same time. "Yeah me", replied the voice in a strong tone.

.... sensations. I felt odd for the longest time, but now I'm a new me!
About 900 years ago I received company from someone up above. His name
is Mr. Wolly Mammoth. Wolly died because of a volcanic eruption, and was
trapped in the burning lava. He's my best buddy and I was so glad he decided to
come join me. We always talk about what we think goes on above us. Sometimes
the Earth rumbles in a strange vibration. Wolly and I call these vibrations
Earth shakes.
100,000 years later and my friend Wolly has left me. He was dug up and
carried away by these "humans." I guess this is what these creatures are called.

Personal Writing: The Cliff
.... and the best view. As we looked up
we could see the stars, thousands and thousands of them. The distinctive
Milky Way right over had looked like a highway of stars stuck in rush-hour
I shined my flashing over the edge down toward the river bed but my light
never made it that far.I Could see the stars jumping up and down in the
reflection of the running water and hear the tackling sound echo up the
cliff walls.
I laid back with my head resting on my backpack staring up searching
for familiar constellations. As Mark passed a metal flask to me I uncapped
it and with one whiff knew the unmistakable odor of tequila. I hesitate .....

Personal Writing: The Current
.... the end of a long straight away in the river, I
noticed the speed of the water was increasing exponentially. A look
farther down the river told me what I had been dreading this whole trip now
lay before us, and we were going into Wallace's Point from the wrong side
of the river! “Rich! Back-right stroke! Back-right stroke! Hurry!
Don't you see that we're going in the wrong way? BACK-RIGHT STROKE!” I
bellowed as a rush of excitement and worry hit me.
“Hey, take it easy man. We can do this. We'll just paddle like
crazy to the other side. Got it?” was Rich's unusually calm reply to my
maniacal outburst. So we both .....

wind burnt so I tapped on the wind sheild for him to slow down. After
coming to a stop I told him he had to try it so again we sped off but this

The Day In The Life Of A Drug Addict

feeling although I knew it was not going to last. I could hear every sound
outside and inside the house. My heart beat grew faster and I felt the

although I knew it was coming very soon. Five minutes later I fixed

Creative Writing: The Drunken Mage

tavern when he saw a large bolt of lightning smash a small vendor's cart
that caught on fire. Behind his back, the elf heard the Mage starting
another chant. Felmont pulled out his small warhammer and took a large

Personal Writing: Exchange Student In Japan
.... about not having enough time to make our flight I urged everyone to
hurry along and to try and walk fast so that we could make our connection.
Little did I know to my surprise after literally storming through the
airport, the flight was delayed. Well that was okay, because we had three
hours to do whatever we wanted, just the four of us in the Detroit Airport.
Well we shopped, and we ate lunch. After a considerable amount of time, we
boarded the plane, and off to Japan we went. I think that I knew how much
trouble I was in when I heard four different meals, and five movie choices
come across the loud speaker. The estimated .....

Personal Writing: The Hamster
.... throughout my parents' house. Because I've never
taken care of a hamster before, my sister had to tell me how I was to take
care of her hamster. I was to feed it, make sure there was plenty of water,
play with it, and give it some exercise by putting it inside of a plastic
ball and let it run around inside of it for exercise Simple, or so I
thought...
The first day went smoothly, and the hamster was doing its hamster
thing: eating, drinking, and running like crazy inside of its hamster
wheel. At certain times of the day I would put the hamster in the little
plastic ball so that it could run around freely. While the hamster .....
