Personal Writing: My Poor House

proper order on top of the entertainment center. All of our CD's and tapes
were put away in their correct spots behind the clear glass door of the
entertainment center. The kitchen table was clear of clutter, and the sink
was empty, accept for the drying rack in the right partition. Then the
doorbell started to ring, and the people began showing up.
We had a lot of fun at the party, but I was not prepared for the
aftermath the next morning. I woke up late Saturday morning with a slight
headache and went downstairs. As I walked down the stairs, I coughed from
the stale smell of cigarette smoke. I looked around .....

.... contrast to the display above it as well as giving my room high-
quality sound. A turn to the left now unveils a bookshelf containing: all
of my hardback books, my alarm clock, my trophies and ribbons, and most of
my CD's and tapes. This storage space is really an unnecessary extra but
it does help keep my room from being cluttered or messy.
Up against this same wall is my bed. This bed was handed down
from my great grandmother to my grandmother to my mom to me. It has been
kept because of it's value and because of sentiment. Crafted out of solid
pine by hand and held together by iron pegs, it adds to the "rustic" t .....

.... out at me, trying to pull me into his twisted Willy Wonka world.
I close my eyes and concentrate, leaving my ears, my nose, and my mind to
do all the work for themselves. Realizing the stench in my room has gotten
quite bad, I light some insense. It's almost 11:30, and I don't seem to be
getting much writing done, so I'll sucumb to the greater power known as
t.v.. I turn on Dave and hop under the four blankets which heat my badly
insulated body throught the cold winter nights. I watch t.v. till the
mighty predator called sleep attacks me and puts me under its hallucnogenic
spell.

Personal Writing: Our Big Trip To State College
.... of
partying and fraternizing with hundreds of drunk college kids much like
ourselves, we headed back to the dorm in which the whole evening started.
And just as any after-school special goes, there was one kid who had just a
little too much to drink, and he proceeded to put his hand through a plate
glass window. "WHAT THE HELL DID YOU JUST DO?!?!?!" were the first words
out of every mouth. So Jason, myself, and Nicole decided to vacate the
premises and head back to Altoona, which was both a good and bad idea. It
was a good idea because the following morning we found out that the dorm
room we were in had got busted and each perso .....

Personal Writing: Nothing Can Bring You Peace But Yourself
.... four years,
we became the best friends ever. We were perfectly compatible with each
other. We began spending all our time together. We were vital to each
other. I came to know each and every detail about her life as she did
about mine. It was the most enduring friendship of my life.
I looked at the clock above my head. Six fifty. She was supposed
to arrive at five o'clock. I felt uncomfortable, some weird feeling
crawled around my heart. I did not understand it. I waited and waited.
It was dark already and I was afraid of being in solitude. I couldn't
stand it anymore. Seven o'clock.
The phone rang and it startled m .....

had just said I don't think that I will be able to stand it. I knew that I
was a free boy, I made up my own rules and nobody was going to sivilize me
no matter what!
The house came into view after walking for a few miles. I entered
first with Aunt Sally walking right behind me.
She said , “Tomorrow were are going shopping to buy you some new
clothes and shoes”. “The ones that you currently own will be thrown away”.
“Now why don't you go up stairs and take a bath so you're clean for supper”.
While walking up the stairs it hit me, I had remembered a sign near

established?” he asked.
“No sir, but our indications lead us to believe that the only
possibly cause could only be Godzilla based only the fact that the
distortion was so big.”
“Very well. It is imperative that we establish visual contact
before we take this whole thing way to far. Tell the pilot to determine
his course, if he is headed for Tokyo we must take necessary actions.”
“At once sir.”
45 minutes later on board a navy helicopter above the Pacific
Ocean...
“Good lord! It is Godzilla! I never believed I would see him
again! Tokyo is doomed!”

Personal Writing: On My Time
.... band because that is when the crowd starts getting into the
music. Pissed off I haphazardly wandered back to my group to inform them
of my greatest mistake.
We loaded the equipment into the worlds slowest elevator, and
stumbled our way to the backstage lounge. After I had read graffiti
covered walls until my heart was content I noticed much writing by some of
my favorite groups like Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Mansion, Korn, and The
Dead Milkmen. Inspired by them I also signed the wall with some chosen
words. The time had rolled around for the first band to hit the stage.
Excited, we rushed our way into the mosh pit, ( .....

He carried the guilt of sneaking away to attend Technostate. He was

a Wyoming highway without seeing another car," Daddy would often brag.
That was not the case, however, in Colorado. The cars were lined
up one after another, traveling 75 miles per hour, to the horizon and
beyond. We passengers paid scant attention to the outside world as we were
involved in a thought-provoking discussion regarding the strengths and
weaknesses of the highly educational hit movie of the summer, Independence
