A Comparison Of Multi-Valued Orientation And Two Valued Orientation
.... orientation. Those were the extremes. Instead of using extremes, the
actual numbers are used. 74 degrees, 98.6 degrees, and -13 degrees are all
examples of the multi-valued orientation. The option to not choose the
extremes is open in these circumstances. Instead of doing good or bad work,
it is possible to do medeocire, very good, or very bad work.
People tend to stay away from the two valued orientation and let
others make up their mind to a capacity of freedom. Multi-valued
orientation and two-valued orientation are two ways of assigning values to
things, that use two completely different methods.

Airships
.... created by a series of air diaphragms inside
its gas space to maintain the shape of its fabric hull. Inventors sought
to combine the best features of these models in a semirigid type, but it
met with only limited success. Today only the nonrigid airship is used.
Rigid Airship
The rigid airship's structure resembled a cage that enclosed a series of
balloons called gas cells. These cells were tailored to fit the
cylindrical space and were secured in place by a netting that transmitted
the lifting force of their gas to the structure. Each gas cell had two or
more valves, which operated automatically to relieve pressure when .....

American And Nigerian Culture
.... no question, it is just assumed that
teenagers were involved. (Unfortunately, Uche, a teenager from Igbuno, has
committed this heinous crime). Also, when the people of Akpei find that
someone is stealing from their huts, again without any evidence, they
surmise that teenagers are to blame. Lastly, Okei's ( Okei is a teen who
lives in Igbuno and is the novel's main character) Uncle Obi Agiliga is
convinced that the teenagers of Igbuno are setting an terrible immoral
example for the upcoming generation.
How many teenagers in our society have not had an immediate finger
of blame pointed at them when something happens or goes wrong? .....

The Three Part Assertion Method
.... enjoy it, but please don't force others
to 'enjoy' it with you. I noticed that when your door is closed, I can no
longer hear it in my room and there is no problem. Thanks! So, what
exactly are playing there? I have this great game.." The first sentence
of this quote uses Bolton's tactic. The feeling part, hostility and
frustration, of it is implied. The last part implies that I intend to
remain friendly and hold no grudges.
To be consistent with the project objectives, I will briefly
explain a real situation in which I could have used the three part
assertion method. Five years ago, at the age of 19, I worked at a local .....

The Anasazi Indians
.... compared to other religions
of the world. Anasazi Indians chose to bury their dead either in the trash
or against walls. The ghosts of the Anasazi were feared widely by most
Navajos for some reason. The oddest thing about the Anasazi is that they
had some kind of infatuation with a humpbacked, flute playing man named
Kokopelli, or the Watersprinkler. On many walls all over the area, a
drawing of Kokopelli can be found. These Indians also drew wide shouldered
forms called Kackina Spirits, and a "Big Chief" looking out from a red
stained shield.
There were many odd things about this tribe, such as, "Why did
these people disappear .....

Baseball's New Rules
.... said it was OK. New York went on to win the next game to
advance to the World Series. The fans in New York made the little boy a
hero for a day and loved him for what he did but most of the other baseball
fans all over the country did not think it was fair to the Orioles.
In conclusion I do not like the new rules of the game and hope the
commissioner of the league will change them for next year.

Bungee Jumping
.... of the Oxford University's Dangerous Sports Club read about and
designed a safe form of the practice. Atop the Golden Gate Bridge, dressed
in tuxedos and top hats, the first form of bungee jumping came to existence.
In 1987, bungee jumping moved to the American commercial scene. Two

The Cherokee Indians
.... their main source of
food, along with wild plants and roots that were common to their homeland.
They used spears, traps, and fishing lines with hooks to catch many
different kinds of fish. They also used an interesting method of poisoning
an area of water to kill the fish and gather them up as they floated to the
surface.
The Cherokees were also skilled hunters. They hunted large animals,
such as deer and bear, with bows and arrows. They covered themselves in
entire deerskins, antlers and all, and used deer calls to lure the animals
to them. They also hunted small game with blowguns that were accurate from
up to 60 feet away.

Child Rearing In Victorian Times
.... parent led totally separate existences, they
were only summoned to appear before their parents at a certain set hour of
the day. Many Victorian children like Winston Churchill and Harriet Marden
recall such cold relations between their selves and their mothers that
they would be able to count how many times in their life they had been
hugged. Family life was formal, although during that time child rearing
manuals urged bonding and maternal ties, mothers remained cool and distant.
Children were a convenience to their parents, they obeyed them as they
would an army officer. Sir Osbert Sitwell once argued,

The Hong Kong Chinese Community
.... and Canada is very different from what they saw of politics
in Hong Kong and China."
Dr. Joseph Wong, whose community activism has earned him the Order
of Canada, thinks that despite changes in Chinese attitudes, fear is still
an obstacle towards political evolution. People are not afraid to demand
for equal rights but the so-called mainstream politics and elected office
is still baffling to the Chinese. The Chinese community's history in
Canada also plays a major role in its reluctance to venture into politics.
Following the completion of the Canadian Pacific Railway, the federal
government imposed a heavy head tax .....
