Drink Up - Drunk Driving Should Be Legalized

with someone else or wait or some public transportation. With the legalization
of driving while drunk the non-drinking population would not need to be bothered
by drunk people that do not have rides. Finally, this would help stimulate the
economy which may be in dire trouble. For example, with the removal of
restrictions on alcohol, many more alcoholic beverages would be sold because a

But drug users hurt themselves more than anybody because they are
supporting violent crimes in the drug world.
Just by using drugs they become part of that drug world. They are

The Debate Over Capital Punishment
.... 1st-Degree Murder, never take into account the consequences of their
actions. Deterrence to crime, is rooted in the individuals themselves.
Every human has a personal set of conduct. How much they will and will not
tolerate. How far they will and will not go. This personal set of conduct
can be made or be broken by friends, influences, family, home, life, etc.
An individual who is never taught some sort of restraint as a child, will
probably never understand any limit as to what they can do, until they have
learned it themselves. Therefore, capital punishment will never truly work

Our Prison System Sucks
.... I'm
not saying that each person should be beaten daily, or made to stay in a
cell by themselves with no one to talk to for an eternity. The person
should be punished according to the crime. "An eye for an eye." This
brings me to the subject of capital punishment. I'm sure some of you are
disgusted by the word, but I am not. I am disgusted with the fact that it
is not here in Canada. I believe that for major crimes, such as that of
Paul Bernardo certainly deserve the death penalty. If someone can go out
