Censorship Of The Internet And The Tyranny Of Our Government
.... of individual computers and networks,
with thousands of speakers, information providers and information users, and no
centralized distribution point (ACLU vs. Reno Brief 1). No guards watch to see
who goes where and if that place is appropriate. The Internet has grown to be a
global network. Just because one country deems something inappropriate does not
mean that another will comply with the decision and follow the ruling. If
posting pictures of bestiality was banned in China, for example, someone in
Switzerland could post those pictures and the Chinese would have access to every
single bit of data. Another example, this bei .....

Censorship And The First Amendment: The American Citizen's Right To Free Speech
.... and views, in order to protect their families as well as

unorthodox material is an abuse of free expression under the First Amendment.
As we will come to find, our Supreme Court system plays an exceedingly important
role in the subject of free speech and expression. As well as, understanding
that the court system is the nucleus of the construing our First Amendment
rights.
First we must focus on the motivation and foundations behind these
individuals attempting to challenge the right to free speech. There are various
reasons given for censorship: in a clas .....

Why The End Of Integration?
.... 'better' school. In Seattle
the school board unanimously voted to "avoid race-based school assignment and
increase enrollment in schools closer to home."(Lilly) The busing plan was not
working and soon many schools were trying to deactivate this maneuver. "There is
evidence that federal courts are realizing that the 25-year-old policy of busing
to achieve racial balance in schools has not worked as a means for ending
segregation or improving the academic performance of minority students."(NCPA)
Busing did not work out as planned; scores for minority students were not higher
and neither was their happiness. Peter Schmidt opinion is .....

Declining Trust In Our Government
.... really has caused the American people to distrust our government and
when did this trend actually begin? I do not believe there is any clear answer
to these questions and I do not believe it would ever be possible to pinpoint
any exact reason for the feelings of the American people. One reason cited by
some is that it is the fault of poor leaders. Two commonly blamed leaders are
President Johnson and President Nixon. Two of the biggest drops in the public's
confidence in our government occurred in 1964, during the bombing of Vietnam,
and in 1972, during Watergate (Nye). Although these two events may have

Driving Laws In India

speed could go through my windscreen)", or "I have not blown my horn for several

Trucks and buses (IV, 2, a): All horn signals have the same meaning, "I

could." This signal may be emphasized by the use of headlights.

What Wrongs Have White Administrators Done To Aborginal People In The Past? Have All Wrong Been Righted?
.... and were denied further contact with their families.
(Aboriginal legal service, 1995 pp ii)
For white Australia, the feeling of responsibility, shame, apologetic
and sympathetic for what their past people have done to the Aboriginals. The
Aboriginals feeling anguished, rejected and feeling in a sence made "different"
from the Europeans.
"For Aboriginal participants a catharsis for feelings of sorrow and rage,

Australia is finally prepared to own the shame of its past, and to accept the
responsibility of effecting real and substancial reparation .....

Affirmative Action
.... someone who is underrepresented. This type of situation happens
often. It is not the qualifications, but the color of the skin that
employers look for today. Affirmative action is a step backwards. We are
back to color and race differences. We are all Americans and should be
treated as so, not what ethnicity we are. Affirmative action should be
abolished solely because we do not want to make the same mistake our
society made in the past --- discriminate according to color. Two wrongs
do not make a right.
Many people say that we should keep affirmative action to render
fairness to the minorities because of the wrongs that w .....

The Bill Of Rights
.... in Virgin and Massachusetts, the
American colonist relied upon the rights enjoyed by Englishmen. The
struggle for independence, however, demonstrated to them that rights not
specified and codified in constitutional documents were insecure. The
result was a movement as soon as independence was declared, to adopt
bindings constitutions that limited governmental power and protected
individual rights. Seven of the thirteen states adopted constitutions that
included specific bills of rights. The first state bill of rights was the
Virginia Declaration of Rights, adopted as part of the state b's first
constitution on June 12,1776.

Government Cutbacks
.... the very smart kids. In the middle, you have the average
kids. And on the other side, you have the kids that have a lot of potential,
but they need the attention to succeed. The smart ones will be fine, the
average ones will likely sneak through, the ones that is going to have the
worst time of all, and who the cuts are going to hit, is going to be the
kids that need the attention. It is happening all the time, kids are
dropping out of school, when they turn sixteen. They dream that they will
go far, but they are failing badly and decide that school's not for them.

Response To Wilson's "Just Take Away Their Guns"
.... if someone looks like when they are carrying a gun? Do they put
on baggy pants with a do-rag before they put the gun in their pants or
pocket? As of right now, there is not one, and never will be one. I know
many people that carry guns that probably would be stopped because of the
way they look. They look like your everyday, average American teenager. I
doubt very seriously that a police officer, even with rigorous training,
could pick someone out of a crowd that was carrying a gun.
If police forces employed this tactic, how would they stop the
constant harassment to one person? If police do find guns on a person that
