Defend Or Refute The Statement: "Trapping Should Be Illegal - Then And Now"
.... in leaps and bounds. The French government was
sending everyone they could to settle in New France. Courieurs de Bois,
began coming to the colony to trap furs and sell them back in France.
France granted land to poor people that were willing to risk the great
voyage. The colony flourished, and grew.
It was the fur trade that was mostly responsible for this colony.
However, some think that by this point the colony was large enough to
illegalize fur trapping and still remain a profitable colony for France.
However, there is one major reason that fur trading should have been
allowed: Relations with the Indians.

Gangs In Today's Cities
.... things that are strongly against
their morals.
One of the ways that kids morals are bent so that gang violence becomes
more acceptable is the influence of television and movies. The average
child spends more time at a TV than she/he spends in a classroom. Since
nobody can completely turn off their minds, kids must be learning something
while watching the TV. Very few hours of television watched by children
are educational, so other ideas are being absorbed during this period of
time. Many shows on television today are extremely violent and are often
shown this from a gang's perspective. A normal adult can see that this is .....

Concern Of The Health Care System
.... they would under the plan.
When asked how this would affect the pharmacy aspect of the hospital
she said "Pharmacy must become involved in the schooling of the patient
about the medicine, where this was previously the job of the nurse."
Besides this she says it would not have a great effect on her department as
opposed to the hospital as a whole.
Managed health care plan that has received the most publicity is that
of President Bill Clinton. Clinton's plan calls for universal health
insurance, meaning that no one could be denied coverage. When faced with
the question of what happens to now coming into the hospital wi .....

The Homeless: What Has Been Done To Decrease The Problem?
.... and to the right
to security in the event of unemployment, sickness, disability, widowhood,
old age or other lack of livelihood in circumstances beyond his control.
This is a step in the right direction. However, this is not enough.
These rights are subject to the discretion of the government of the country
who decides to obey these universal rights. How much is "adequate"?
The government, both at the federal and municipal levels, is currently
working on new spending cuts. These cuts also include spending on welfare,
unemployment and social services that are geared towards helping the
homeless. Spending cuts can be .....

"Japan's Education System Is Successful"
.... for equality. They recognized how hard a student
can work and how fast he can learn. The student can take entrance exams.
Bright, hard-working students that come from poor families have a better
chance of being admitted to elite schools than average students with rich
families.
The Japanese education system works in many ways. Even though it is
hard and long hours are put in to learning, the suicide rate is low.
Everyone in Japan has a chance of learning, and if he works hard enough he
can prosper in life. The success of Japan and other countries lies in the
education of its youth.

Creating The Safest Classroom And Lab Atmosphere
.... access, and fire safety must all be considered when building a
classroom. The Uniform Building Code states that a classroom is a Group E
occupancy, and follows that statement with a series of legislation. The
legal aspects of a classroom begin with the basicsÐlight and ventilation.
An enclosed area designated as a classroom has to have natural light from
windows which should have an area proportional to at least 1/10 the total
floor area. Ventilation from exterior openings should be proportional to
at least 1/20 the total area. Where this is not possible, artificial light
and mechanical must be implemented to accomplish the sa .....

On Love And Hate
.... tell us to repress our hatred and replace it with love, a
path bound eventually for emotive explosion and breakdown. The diametric
path gives us a series of smaller explosions with promise of emotional
stability as a result of constant expulsion of malefic urges.
Neither of these, or combinations thereof, are terribly productive
ways in which to deal with hate, as even the moderate paths deal with the
hatred only superficially and inefficiently. I see the only way around
hatred being understanding. Upon comprehension of the object of hatred,
one is either better equipped for the constructive removal of said object,
cooly .....

Marriage Relationships
.... However,
until we did decide to have children we agreed that contraception would be
used.
The discussion we had on which topics which couples should agree upon
was filled with lots of disagreements. We agreed that couples should agree
on topics such as issues concerning the children, and major career
decisions. We began to disagree on the issues of finances and the
distribution of housework. I felt that I should handle all the money as
well as do my share of the housework. Laura however, felt that she should
be in charge of the money and that I should do all the housework. In the
end we weren't able to settle on an .....

Man's Attitude Towards Nature As Being Superior
.... resources of the earth has lead us to think of ourselves
as the most important part of nature. We took what the earth had to offer,
and there was no one to stop us.
Speciesism is the exploitation of plants and animals. At first, we
feared animals but once we domesticated animals we gained a sense of power
and dominance. We now view animals as commodities, curiosities, and even as
our selves. As commodities, we sell, buy and hunt animals. Fish are
considered to be a commodity, so are domesticated animals as well as some
wild animals. As curiosities, we have animals for entertainment. Zoos,
circuses, bullfights, marine land, e .....

under Goring's command. As of April 26, 1933, this old Department IA of
the Prussian political police was replaced by the Geheime Staatspolizei
("Secret State Police"), better known as the Gestapo. Within two years its
actiones would be free from judicial review and it would take its place
beside the SD (Sicherheitsdienst, or "Security Service") and the security
branch of the SS in a sadistic competition to achieve the totalitarian
state.
Until this time Nazism was very much a function of communism-- the
other side of the revolutionary coin. Now, within Germany, National

Oil Pollution And Its Effect On Wildlife
.... spilling of million of tons of oil. Big oil spills, no matter
what way they occur, reflect on the oil industry badly.
The clean©up cost alone is enormous, and the amount of damages can
be into the millions of dollars. Despite the clean©up efforts,
once there is an oil spill, it cannot be prevented from causing
major damage to wildlife and the environment.
EFFECT ON WILDLIFE:
All the migrating seabirds like guillemots, puffins, and razorbills are
at risk from oil pollution. During migration, they look for calm water
where they rest and fish. Oil©covered seas look calm to birds, an .....

The Statutory Definition Of Pornography
.... man, child or
transsexual who alleges injury by pornography in the
way women are injured by it also has a claim.
[emphasis added]
My goal in this paper is to suggest that a slight modification to this
subsection of the ordinance would make it very difficult for liberals and
legal conservatives to object to it. This modification would restrict the
cause of action to the same persons as the other sections of the ordinance,
namely, the particular victim of the specified injury. I shall argue that
such a modification would largely cohere with the conception of harm
already at work in Ontario law, w .....
