To Work Or Not To Work?

While at work last semester, I met a lot of new people and learned how to work with others. At Rent Grow, I use communication skills while answering phones and speaking to our customers. This will aid me in the future with job interviews. I also learned that attendance is extremely important. If you do not show up or come to work late that you are penalized a half hour of pay. From this I have come to realize that attendance in anything that is important to you, like school for example, should always be considered critical.

Descartes 1ST Meditation
.... for I have often found myself in life asking the same type of questions. I have never found any real answers for these questions. None at least that I can call knowledge in a true sense.
To tell you now why I think Descartes makes a good argument is easy. I think it is healthy to question what we currently believe as knowledge. It is a way of learning about the world and us. Most of my knowledge has been what I consider to be temporary. Although there are a few things I'd rather not question- for my own sanity.

Mancur Olson’s The Logic Of Collective Action
.... theory is the rationality of man that is, people maximize benefits while minimizing costs. This cost-benefit analysis says that people want the maximum amount of benefits or results with the least amount of cost (money, time, etc.). A rational person will not join an interest group because the benefits do not outweigh the costs of joining. Olson limits the by-product theory to large and latent groups. This is done because according to Olson’s central theory of collective action small and intermediate groups do not face the collective action problem. Rituals
.... up. She is always late and her time is an hour difference from the regular time. She brings all her kids and her husband (whom wants nothing more than to go home) inside and tries to perk them up. Well after a while every body decides to eat and we all grab a plate and dig in. It’s not fancy at all- all plastic silverware and usually we just find a chair to sit down on and eat there.
After dinner and several long minutes of boredom the card table gets pulled out. My uncle tries to think that he knows what he’s doing and dumps a ton of baby powder on it. He said is makes the table smooth but all it did was make a mess. .....

Columbine High School
.... be suffering the loss of loved ones, and a nation would not be mouring. The effect thid massacre had on millions of people will face us everyday. Will students be safe in school, can we suspect others to do the same thing? That is what is wrong with our nation and other nations today. We have no compassion or respect for ones life. Learning To Really Learn: Through Oral Communication
