Prior to the Triangle Waist Company fire the public refused to see a responsibility for the exploitation of immigrant labor and saw striking workers anarchists. This began to change after the fire. The 146 dead made the establishment begin to see striking workers as human beings seeking their rights.

A Fantasy
.... Flags and of course he got to ride the rides to. He would even go with me to school some times. Thank goodness he was just in my imagination or I might have gotten into trouble by the teachers.
He was my bestfriend, up until about third grade. He was always there to play with me, he never had to go home and he always shared. Through The Tunnel: Third Person Point Of View

By using the third person omniscient point of view, the narrator is able to render the characters with information related both from direct description and from the other character's revelations. This way, the description remains unbiased, but at the same time coherent with how the various characters see it. Epic Heroes In Time

Similarly, young Moses killed an Egyptian who was pestering a Jewish man (Exodus, 45) and Jacob forced his starving brother out of his birthright by giving him some food. These actions do not tarnish the hero, but they are necessary for the development of their character. In Moses’ case, the murder serves as a metaphor for his destiny - to save the Jewish people.

For instance, one walking up stairs is not equivalent to when "she almost flew up the stairs," for one gains a greater sense of fear from the latter. The Politics Of Education Reform

In 1926 the deep south was a place of racial division and gross inequality. It was a time that black men and women, although by law free, were not even considered to be human beings in the eyes of our country’s elite class.
