Crucible: "We Are Our Own Worst Enemies"
.... But he did not honestly tell his wife,
Elizabeth, the truth until the midst of the play. This later had influence
to the turning point of the play as Elizabeth confront to Danforth that
Proctor did not commit any sins, when in fact she is just trying to protect
him. What she doesn't realize is that John had already confessed his sins
to Danforth, therefore, Elizabeth's testimony imply that John was a liar.
As a consequence, John was convicted and was sentenced to be hang. John
Proctor's honesty have been a factor in depicting that he is indeed his
"own worst enemy".
In the same manner, John Proctor's exuberant sense of dig .....

Personal Writing: James Marcia's Identity Status Of Moratorium
.... successful I can make my future?
As you can tell I am overflowing with worries and questions. In a
way I almost wish I had the identity staus of forclosure pushed on me so
that my future is already planned for me and I could focus on one day at a
time. Then my egotism strikes again and I think to myself "I can go
farther than that." "Do not take the easy way out." The decisions I have
to make are helping to build character., I know, I know.
I need to be in the identity staus of identity achievement. To get
there I must put more faith into my decision making abilities and

Training
.... others on how to do these
new positions.
Management executives are now pushing for more effective training,
by budgeting for it and asking for progress reports. These companies that
are really serious about training spent about 30% of their training budget
on research. This includes follow-up and evaluation of the training
programs. These programs are now disproving the six main myths about
training. These myths are 1) positions turn over so fast, it doesn't pay
to train. 2) Experienced employees don't need training. 3) What do we have
a human resources department for? 4) Training is a waste of time. 5)
Training is simple. Any .....

Jonathan Edward's "Sinners In The Hands Of An Angry God"
.... of sin. Absent
from his selection is any mention of the moderation and patience that
continues in Luke 13:8-9: "let it alone this year also, until I dig around
it and fertilize it. And if it bears fruit, well." By omitting these v
erses of scripture, Edwards hopes to move his audience by his calling
rather than at their own leisure. Another example of manipulation occurs
as Edwards proposes that sinners are already Satan's property. In section
five he states that Satan "stands ready to fall upon them and seize them as
his own," yet rather than cite a biblical reference by verse, he chooses
only to name it: "Luke 11:12". Unfo .....

This shows that they have a very serious realationship. Finally the laugher
is a very serious person.

The Odyssey: Differences From Today's Society
.... of the suitors in his home, he had it set in
his mind to kill them all before even trying to reason with them or asking
them to leave. Also, he plans to take revenge and kill his servants when
he believes that they were disloyal and instead of giving them the chance
to explain why they had been disloyal to him.
In today's society you can't go out and kill someone because you
feel what they are doing is wrong. For that we have legal systems where
people have the right to prove their innocence if thought to be guilty. If
Odysseus killed someone today because he didn't like what they were doing,
he would be jailed. If killing p .....

Review Of The Odyssey
.... as follows “You yellow dogs, you thought I'd never make it home
from the land of Troy. You took my house to plunder, twisted my maids to
serve your beds. You dared bid for my wife while I was still alive.
Contempt was all you had for the gods who rule wide heaven, contempt for
what men say of you hereafter. Your last hour has come. You die in blood.”
(page 410 lines 37-43). This quote gives a good impression of the closure
that is given by this passage, included for this purpose, because it give
Odysseus his revenge, the suitors will die in disgrace, Odysseus has
finally returned to claim his place. The dominant impression cr .....

This is all highly objective in nature, and considering it's three am I
could very well think differently about this entire issue when I actually

interpreted a hundred different ways depending on what events or place is
shaping the mind.

The Odyssey: Theme Of Homecoming And Reunion
.... after
long suffering, for it denies them the knowledge of the good; namely virtue.
Of improper feasting there are numerous examples, from the
gluttonous behavior of the suitors and the cannibalism of the Kyklops, to
Odysseus' own shipmates who kill and feast on the cattle of Lord Helios,
the Sun. As illustrated by the text, improper feasting is a sin against
the order of Zeus and thus the order of men. Telemakhos recognizes the
wrong done against him and his household. The youth of Telemakhos prevents
him from doing more than sitting by in mute fury, but it is the visitation
of Athena that unlocks his silent disgust. He .....

Lantau's "Do You See What I See": Main Points
.... Secondly, your beliefs are religiously different than other peoples.
Your religious beliefs may be different than any other persons. All
religions think differently and they believe in different things. Such as
Catholics believe in fasting, Mormons believe in not drinking a lot of
caffeine, Jews believe in not watching a lot of television and they also do
not celebrate Christmas. Jews often celebrate Hanukkah instead. I hope I
have just mentioned a few things that are making you believe that all
religions are different and they believe in different things. This is
another reason why all people have a different way of seeing the .....

"The Journey Through The Twelve Forests" And "The Bhagavad Gita": The Vaishnava Community
.... one were to only read the Gita, they might assume it to be
nothing more than a fairy tale passed down from many generations that told
of a greater being, Vishnu, whose job was to “deliver the holy, destroy the
sin of the sinner, and establish righteousness”(50). It tells how in order
to achieve moksha or the release from the eternal struggle of life, one
must abandon all worldly feelings, ideas, and beliefs so that they can find
this new eternal peace. The Gita tells that in order to truly achieve
release you can not try to understand the incomprehensible, grasp the
intangible, nor construct the unthinkable, but rather foc .....

Feral Children

wolves. Although the children developed some social skills and the
rudiments of language, they never became completely normal, and they died
young. There is, however, no way of knowing to what extend their
limitations were a result of cultural deprivation.
Fictionalized accounts of feral children have recurred throughout
history, from the legend of ROMULUS AND REMUS to the more recent fictions
of Mowgli in Rudyard Kipling's JUNGLE BOOK (1894) and TARZAN OF THE APES in
several works by Edgar Rice Burroughs. They have been the themes of the
films The Wild Child (1970) by Francois Truffault and The Mystery of Kaspar
