Personal Writing: Relationships

gotten together with her didn't bother me only because two years had alredy
past and t that point I understood a lot more about the opposite sex and I
would have to say that by then, from everything that I had seen,it really
didn't surprise me vey much.
The last long relationship I was in I found myself a lot less
trusting thanks to my past experiences woth the opposite sex. This
relationshop lasted approximately one year. About six months into the
relationship summertime arrived and she wanted to separate. I told her if
that's what she wanted, than it was fine, and within the next two months I
had relationship .....

Personal Writing: Friendships
.... for
almost everything in the world there is a lesson that must be learned.
Learning these lessons through friendships is a very powerful and
exceptional thing. These lessons have varied from one extreme to the other
in my life and have changed and shaped a large majority of my views and
perceptions. Learning any lesson with a friend, be it significant or not,
will bring you closer together; and furthermore that lesson that you
learned was done in your own way which only you will have felt and
experienced. Some important lessons that had precedence in my life were
about life in general, love, happiness, fear and a handful of othe .....

Creative Writing: Time Travel
.... him a story about
time travel. Leon was strange and no one believed his stories but Bryan
was desperate. He went to his Uncle's house praying that there was some
way he could help him.
Leon carefully listened to Bryan as he told the whole story and his
feelings. Bryan asked him about the time travel theory and Leon said, “
and now you want to believe my stories?”
Leon told Bryan his theory again and then took him to the basement.
At first Bryan thought he was dreaming but it was a real time machine. “
Does it work?” Bryan asked. “Of course it works” replied Leon , “how do
you think I got rid of your Aunt Edna?”

Creative Writing: Trigatipede
.... disasters such a project would generate. They wanted
me to chemically produce hybrid's of different animal species.
My first thought was that such a thing was impossible, but they
showed me research and experiments done by the government that proved it
was possible. The investors sensed my unwillingness and placed a briefcase
in my lap. I opened it and found stacks of neatly wrapped bills. It had to
have been at least ten million dollars. I was informed that the briefcase
was merely an incentive and if I was able to successfully create one of
their creatures, then the payoff would be even larger.
I reluctantly agreed, sti .....

Personal Writing: Trip Through The Soft Soft Sand
.... to take a look around. I veered off the road in started
heading in the direction of the rock formation. Unfortunately although
driving along what seemed to be tracks I was getting myself deeper and
deeper into very soft sand. This was my mistake, traveling along a path
that was untested and the whereabouts of the destination unknown.
"Are you sure you know what you are doing" said Jamie as the tires
began to spin more and more in the soft particles of sand.
"Sure, don't you see the tracks in the sand? Others have been this
way, and hey, if they can do it, why can't we?" I said this half heatedly
based on the fact that I was .....

Personal Writing: Going To School In The United States
.... upon my life.
With this pressure at home in the United States, the most
significant event that I had to deal with was my parents unhappily marriage.
Receiving the news about my parents divorce brought severe depression and
confusion towards my thought on life and why they sent us here to the
United States.
During this moment, I felt the reason that they sent us to America
was only a excuse for them not wanting us. I couldn't cope with this kind
of pressure and problem all at one time. My uncle realize that my bad
progress in high school and disrespectful attitude at home was the result
of my parents divorce. His .....

Personal Writing: Volunteering At Summer Quest
.... food cost.
It also taught me a lot about planning and time organization. I had to plan
months in advance, and fill in every second of the day with activities to
keep the students busy. Now I know that in the future when I am in the
real world, I can plan big events and pull them off successfully because of
this experience.
The second agency that I worked for was Parkway Preschool. This
agency has two types of programs. They call the first program "Moms Day
Out." This program allows parents who cannot afford, or do not have the
resources of proper child care, a chance to drop their kids off three times
a week from 8:30 a.m. to 1 .....

Personal Writing: What Freedom Of Speech Means To Me
.... and the people own the
country. The place that the government should step in is when it endangers,
damages, or insults another human being.
When the leaders of our country wrote the constitution of the
United States, they knew that their rules would have to be broken sometime
in the future. What they didn't think would happen, is that the rules would
be broken barely more than two hundred years after they were written. The
freedom of speech is a rule that must not be broken now or ever.

Personal Writing: Why I Need A Car
.... walk away. There are no small stores and if I want milk, the
closest store is in North Vancouver, would you believe. I guess they
expect everyone to be so rich, so they can afford a car for every member in
the family (think again). Waiting for the buses in the freezing rain or
snow is so annoying. If I just had a car, I could jump into my it and
drive to Park Royal in a fraction of the time. I wouldn't have to wait for
buses anymore and I wouldn't have to stand in the terrible weather waiting
for the buses.
In addition I'm getting a job and can't rely on buses to get me
there on time. I can't get to work late, or I will .....

Personal Writing: My First Hockey Match
.... only a few dollars left, and my arms filled with delectable treats, I
finally reached gate 201.
I pushed the heavy blue drapery to my side. Standing in awe, my
eyes scanned the gigantic arena. Everyone, including myself could feel the
anxiety dripping from the air. Music blared, colored television screens lit
up "Let's go Wings" and fans swung their red and white shimmery pom-poms.
Scrunched in my arena-side seat, I gazed in amazement at the massive
amounts of people, and began to enjoy my very first Red Wings hockey game.
The first Red Wing poked out of the locker room. His silver skate
blade cut into the f .....
