A Day In The Life
.... kitchen to see if there is a quick breakfast that can be prepared between the time I put the kettle on until the time it boils. My mum will be up to her armpits with potato and carrot peelings and there will be various pans bubbling and hissing on the stove. A chicken, a leg of lamb, or roast beef will be roasting away in the oven. My mum will launch into an in depth, analytical conversation which my caffeine free brain finds hard to understand, so a quick turnaround on the breakfast making is essential, not just for my brain but for all the food that might be ruined if her conversation is returned.
I go into the living room a .....

No Need For Drastic Change
.... 57. 2-3). This is a mere desire of what he would like to happen in his world. But in reality the world would turn into complete chaos if we let go of the laws. People would not understand right from wrong and would feel lost where they once felt secure. Some would rebel and break every law ever made. Honesty would be impossible because everyone has a different notion of what is moral and what is not. Communities would break up and different types of sub-cultures would form according to people’s preferences. People would fight and problems would arise because of differences in opinion. The Green Light Café
.... savored his forte- clever, witty social and spiritual observations. On this particular night, however, we rewrote the words to an old 80’s song that could not have been that good because none of us could remember the words, title, or artist who performed it. We knew the tune however, and the green light reaching down from overhead was enough to lead us through an improvisation that we happened to catch on tape. We listened to it over and over again. The smoke in the room became thicker.
No words capture the essence of the song better than the phrase Something Nifty. The song now bares this description as its name; Something .....

Creative Writing: The End Of Grendel
.... blocking the stars glow. A sudden rush of fear went through my body. Just when I leapt to my feet to see what was outside the door to the mead-hall opened. My jaw fell to the ground when I saw a devilish monster standing with its mouth watering. I quickly and quietly opened the near by window and crept out. Lucky for me the giant’s eyes and mine never met. I watched as it prowled the hall looking for something to eat. It snatched one man and bit off his head, still no one woke from their drunken sleep. With the taste of flesh still on its tongue it searched more to satisfy its craving. Its eyes fell upon a chubby man, who by t .....

Character Study: Local Residents
.... outside the house because the road is quite narrow and the traffic needs to be able to flow freely. It would be dangerous, not only getting in and out of the car, but also leaving the car on the road since drivers have been known to hit stationary vehicles.
The amount of air pollution means that I can’t open the windows because the house fills with fumes. On a dry day the house and windows are covered in dust, and if the windows are open the whole house becomes covered in dust. Wet days bring mud splattered doors and dirt speckled windows.
Home improvements are very difficult because of the traffic, it is problematical for .....

A Remedy For My Sweet Tooth
.... are one of my favorites. Eating one of these potent pellets is a tortuous thing to do to myself, but I love the risk. I love to eat them but their name says it all. These little sinful spheres are absolutely brutal going down my throat. I don’t know why I put myself through the torture that I do when munching on these harsh ca .....
