College Essay: Which Of Your Possessions Reveals Most About You And Why?
.... he. I conclude that the possessor of this book bag is a young man of a scholarly nature, most likely a teenager, a student of various academic disciplines. His eyesight is most likely poor, and it seems that he is very exceptional, but tries to make up for his faults. He obviously prefers to perform simple tasks in exciting, unusual ways, likes a good discussion, and is not afraid to reveal his opinions. Self-conscious of his mistakes, he likes to straighten them out at the first opportunity, and is well equipped to fight boredom. And this is my perfunctory opinion. Had I met the gentleman, I would be able to tell you more." .....

He must have stole every newspaper in Dearborn, Dearborn Heights, and Livonia and threw it on my lawn. Every inch of grass on my lawn was covered. It had been hours since it was done and much of it had blown down the street and all over the neighbors’ lawns. I cleaned it all up.

Graduation
.... When everyone arrived we
rehearsed on how we were to walk in and where we were going to sit. You could
the excitement in everyone’s eyes. No one could wait for the moment in which our
diplomas would be handed to us. They lined us up by height with the boys to one
side and the girls to the other. Each boy was paired up with a girl and was to
walk in side by side with her when the ceremonies began. Once the couple reached
the grandstands, where each member of the graduating class would be sitting ,
they were to separate with the girls going left and the boys to the right until
everyone was seated.
The time finally arrived .....

Creative Writing: The County Courthouse
.... lady, now engulfed in
tears, leaves. The clerk shrugs and turns around.
The building seems colder upstairs. There almost seems to be a dampness in the
air. Down a corridor there are empty offices and paintings of important looking
people. I recognize two of them as Washington and Jefferson. In between them is
a copy of the constitution. As I read it I chuckle, and wonder if this
government is really what they had in mind.
Farther down the hall I hear voices. The general court is in session. Inside the
courtroom, a scruffy-looking man is in front of the judge. He has been charged
with public intoxication and resisting arrest. He d .....

the future will require extensive knowledge and skills of computers and anyone
without them will be completely lost.

Balances Of Values And Academic Freedom Of Inquiry
.... We should feel free
to learn and question new ideas. Just because we learn something doesn't mean we
have to accept it. We should leave ourselves open to new ideas. When we do this
we become very well rounded individuals.
An example of this is the issue involving the debate between evolution
and creationism. As Christians, we naturally believe in creationism, but we
shouldn't stop learning about evolution because we don't believe in it. This
makes us very close minded. We shouldn't stop learning about a subject just
because we don't believe in it. One of our freedoms is the academic freedom of
inquiry. This means we have freedo .....

Prayer in school is a controversial issue that must be considered and
dealt with as quickly as possible. All people should feel free to worship and
have loyalties to whichever religion they choose. If no religion is chosen,
then the feelings of the person should be considered as will. Everyone has an
opinion on this subject, but everyones opinion should not become an issue.

the class. Apparently, the class had just been returning from a trip to the
school library when the fire drill went off, so when they came in they were
still carrying their library books. The students were asked to take their seats
and they did so quietly. Everyone's eyes were on Carrie and me. Mrs. Debolt
asked us to introduce ourselves, which we did. She told the class that we
were learning to be teachers and that we wanted to sit in on their social
studies class. Each student sat at a little desk with their name laminated on
the top. The students had laminated cards .....
