Self-Reflective Essay
.... I was once a child and I have worked with them before(at a
summer camp).
Even though I may be early, I have been able to observe others on
the way they behave. I especially observe children, since I want to deal
with them as a career. In order to do this, I decided to work at a daycare,
do some babysitting jobs, and tutor them in their studies. It has worked
for me in terms of experience. Even though I worked with them for the
experience and knowledge, I also did it so I would make a difference in a
child’s life, also to make a new friend.

Dating In Highschool To Real Life Love Situations
.... for intervening
and setting you up with someone. It almost seemed unfair, but that’s just
how things were.
Most of the time I was, unfortunately, the one being set up. It
wasn’t that I couldn’t find anyone, but usually I didn’t want or need a
significant other. Apparently, my friends thought differently. They
insisted that I date one of their boyfriends’ friends.
Two weeks after school started was the much anticipated Homecoming
week. Everyone looked forward to the festivities of that particular week,
especially the dance. I wasn’t really planning on going with anyone, but
out of the blue, one of the guys in the class a .....

Creative Writing: Tamia
.... fury, and none in their path could
withstand them.
The Kaidites brought with them their strange customs and gods. The supreme
Tamian god, Niord, god of light and fury, was replaced with the warlike
Helk. Ahrimal the forked-tongue had a temple right against the wall of
the Palace itself. Tamian gods, save for Niord, were tolerated, so long as
their worshippers did not cause any trouble. The Niordites continued to
worship their god underground, however, even under severe persecution, for
all knew that if their lost high god found his power, the Kaidites would be
driven out.
The conflict was a hundred years in the maki .....

Creative Writing: Sycamore Street
.... stared as the very noticeable squad car
crept by, hoping to shake the local people, but no one moved just cold
stares back, as if it was a showdown in the wild wild west. Junkies pasted
by with squeaking shopping carts filled with old telephones, hubcaps and
Styrofoam cups and plates. An elderly woman sat on her porch rocking back
and forth, surrounded by a crowd of wild cats waiting patiently for the
bread that sat in her lap. Mothers gathered around a old broken down
garage reminiscing and sipping 22 ounce Natural Lights.
A little girl with two pigtails laughed while having a conversation
with her baby doll. Another girl .....

My Apartment
.... loudly music, children banging around stairs… these noises bug me sometimes! Whenever I could not stand it anymore, I would slam my door room, warning them to stop it. But my request from slamming the door is rarely satisfied.
At the corner of the apartment is a garbage-cart which is every morning there’s a old guy - wearing a worn, drag and dirty clothes - lean in and look for everything he can reuse. The unpleasant odors of rotten foods, of over-ripe cheese, the smell of cinders, acrid smoke, of musty, rusty metal from the old, broken table, chairs… are mixed together giving off a pungent odor. I wonder how he can stand .....

Life Long Friendship
.... often permanently bonds humans together.
Of course, not everyone can maintain friends from our childhood as I have been able to do. People are mobile, they move from city to city or merely change neighborhoods. Yet, regardless of the length of the relationship, we all have a need for friendship and continually strive to make close and true friends in our lives.
If our immediate family can be called the body of love, then our friends are its' wings. While new friendships are equally significant and meaningful, old friendships are nurtured, as well as sustained, by a curious fact. Growing up together, people really get .....

Arrested In Winder, Georgia
.... house, we had to go through town. We had just passed the city limit sign for Winder and got on to a two- way road. Joe and I were talking about who would be at the picnic and some other non-serious subjects on our minds. There was another car in front of us. It was going about 25 miles per hour at a 45 mile per hour zone. I was impatient that the car in front of us was going so slow. Joe asked me to honk the horn at the car so that it would speed up, but I decided not to do that. I should have done that but instead, I passed the car, knowing that it was a no passing zone. I didn't think there would be any police around in .....

Personal Writing: My Father's Desire To Be A Doctor
.... in certain books word-by-word. In fact, it took him eleven years to pass it. In the meantime, he failed the first ten exams with scores like 58.9, 59.2, or even 59.98 when the passing score is 60. Frustrated, he had very bad tempers during that period of time; even his kids were afraid to go near him. At the age of forty-four, he finally passed the examination but had to leave his family to go to another city to get proper training. After months of training and trafficking between home and school, he got his license as a doctor of traditional Chinese medicine.
Now he has a brand new doctor’s office of his own, which is .....

Perosnal Writing: My Experience In The Navy
.... many young men and women came from different ethnic background, and different states. There was this one man wearing the Navy uniform, he gets everyone in attention by yelling “all of you stand up straight and fall in a single line.” Everyone just followed his ordered and formed a single line in just an instant. From that moment I knew I have to face a very challenging job which included with rules and regulations by the United States Armed Forces. My Freshman Experience At The University Of Alabama
.... making sure that I do not miss a thing that goes on in Atlanta.
Another issue that has effected my college experience is meeting new people. Meeting new people is usually something that I never have a problem of doing. Since I have been here I have felt intimidated by people and not as comfortable around them as I usually do. The idea that I am at college and around older people has a lot to do with it. But I still think that I have meet more people that I have ever known in my life while being in Alabama. Going through Rush for example was a very intimidating, but I met so many girls. So far I have met some really g .....

My Fisher Price Airplane
.... had been lonely the past thirteen years waiting for that little three-year old boy to hold it again. The exterior of the plane is as smooth a newborn baby except for a few deep scratches here and there. I place the plane back on the table and push it around a little bit for old time’s sake. The wheels make a grumbling sound as I push it back and forth in front of me. The thousands of landings it did while I was a young child took their toll on the priceless antique.
I remember the Christmas day that I got the plane like it was last week. It was all wrapped in bright green wrapping paper with a red ribbon. The ribbon c .....
