In closing there are many different symbols and different ways to use them. The theory of symbolic interaction can be applied to help us understand how these interactions are possible and to show us how we can manipulate and create these symbols.

We can not let the children suffer because they have irresponsible parents. The way to make safe houses effective is to find people who care and are willing to make a change.

Living In A Residence Hall
.... university functions and to spend a lot of time at the student recreation center, and I find the closeness of everything on the campus one of EIU's most outstanding features.
Another attractive feature of the residence halls is the overall atmosphere in them and the friendliness of the people at EIU. I have visited some of the halls and they all seemed like very comfortable and relaxed places to live, like a second home. When I was there everyone was very nice and outgoing. I think it would be very easy to make friends at EIU because everyone is so nice. I also noticed that everyone in the halls were very respectful of each .....

The Obstacles In Raising Nonracist Children
.... and the majority of tenants are poor black families. The superintendent spends his time fixing broken sinks, toilets, heaters and windows, all of which are never fixed correctly. When the superintendent is not fixing the building, he is sitting in his easy chair watching The Wheel of Fortune. Violence Due To The Media
.... violence and vulgarity are not the only examples of unjust censorship. Who can speak their mind on controversial subjects such as the murder that occurs every day, which is abortion and the faults in our government? The message needs to be heard about these and other wrongs of society, but they aren’t. No one can make their message heard to wide masses of people unless it is a politically correct and non-controversial message, and that’s not the way that it should be. That further demonstrates the injustice of censorship.

The Potential Dangers Of Air Bags And Children

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has identified 86 crashes where the deployment of the passenger air bag resulted in fatal head or neck injuries to a child. Eighteen of these deaths were to infants in rear-facing child safety seats. Most of the other 68 children were determined to be completely unbuckled, or wearing only the lap portion of the safety belt at the time of the crash (Kids and Airbags).

Do We Need Protection In Our Schools?
