The goal in Taoism is to achieve tao, to find the way. Tao is the ultimate reality, a presence that existed before the universe was formed and which continues to guide the world and everything in it. Tao is sometimes identified as the Mother, or the source of all things. That source is not a god or a supreme being as with Christians, for Taoism is not monotheistic. The focus is not to worship one god, but instead on coming into harmony with tao. Who Is The Christ Of First Corinthians?

Buddha

The Byzantine Chant
.... Chant had an influence on, and is directly related, to other Orthodox chants. It is one of the basis' for all other Orthodox chant forms. The chants used by the churches in Serbia and Bulgaria are changed forms of the original Byzantine chant. In Russia, a musical system called Znamenny chant arose after Orthodox monks from Constantinople began teaching the people the melodies which were in use in the Byzantine Empire. In the 14th and 15th centuries, the areas surrounding present-day Hungary and Slovakia developed musical forms with a basis on Byzantine chant after being taken over by the Polish.

Theory Of Religion
.... out of psychological need. He viewed religion as a persons positive way of fulfilling needs and its positive effects of an individuals life. He believed that religion gave a "new zest" on a persons life, and "an assurance of safety", which would eventually lead to a harmonious relation with the universe." Although Freud and James didn't have exactly the same beliefs on religion because of their different educations, both men's theory had similar meaning in that religion made people have inner peace as they go through life.

Christianity
.... is supposed to be the mouth piece of God cant tell me the answers.
One problem that I have with Christianity is their bible. The bible says that a great flood took place to rid the world of sins and sinners. It also says that "even the tallest mountains were covered with water", which means that the water covering the earth was five and a half miles deep. If the earth had ever been covered with water that deep, it would still be covered with water that deep, since there is a finite amount of water on this planet that simply evaporates and falls back to earth as rain. Taoism

Taoist writings are wise and mystical. They are written in a poetic form. The Taoist bible is 1,120 volumes long. The Chuang Tzu is a compilation of Taoist writings from the time period around 300B.C. Some think it is the finest writing of Taoist thought. It is a very interesting book filled with Taoist ideas and beliefs. The Chuang Tzu says “While the Tao always seems to be in flux, the balance of its forces is forever the same, so that in a larger sense it is unchanging, and it is absolutely indivisible”(Creel 1970pg.2). (Which I see as if a person wishes to be one with the Tao .....

What Is Hinduism

While the Vedas is a very important aspect of Sanatan Dharma, the Bhagavad Gita is Hinduism’s most widely read literary work. It is basically a dialogue between Krishna (an avatar of Vishnu) and the charioteer of Arjuna who refused to kill his own relatives in battle. According to my source, the Bhagavad Gita contains the same principles as the Vedas. However, the Bhagavad Gita is more easily understood.

Zeus, A Good God

Confucius And Confucianism
