A Passage Of Time
.... the current times of speed and fast results,
it was very reassuring to be able to take time to go through the routines
which had been a part of Bradley's life for at least fifteen years, now.
Bradley savoured his drink, choosing to drink it very slowly, as if in
an attempt to slow down time. Bradley tried again to put words to the page,
typing away furiously (certainly the ability to type over ninety words per
minute helps when you have to write as much as he does), but his mind,
usually clear when on task, was becoming muddled with concern for his many
other on-going projects. His concentration slowly deteriorated and even .....

The Republic Of Pakistan
.... inflation hence, saving the economy. This
must be done! Ladies and gentlemen, there is a solution to every problem,
unfortunately, the Brazilian government does not seem very interested in
the remedies. HOWEVER, we, The Republic of Pakistan, feel that the
opportunity should be given to The Dominion Republic to help assist in the
damaged society.
One may ask, why is Pakistan interested in such a resolution? Well, we
know how governments are. They are interested PURELY IN THEMSELVES! The
Brazilian government is just like the Kashmir government (but that's
another speech). They do what he want, and do NOT give a 2 cents abo .....

Personal Writing: A Path Seldom Chosen - Solving Problems Without Violence
.... that I would offer to be his own personal reusable toothpick
for as long as he wished.
Violence and nonviolence are two very effective ways to solve
problems, but for people like me whose brains are stronger than their
fists, nonviolence seems much more practical and less harmful. I'm not a
tree hugging' hippy or a follower of Gandhi. I simply believe, and
history supports my beliefs, that violence and nonviolence are two
strategies of solving a problem. The flaw of violence is theoretically
you're trying to counteract a negative with a negative, or as an old saying
goes “fighting fire with fire”. What progress is .....

The Republic Of Pakistan (Speech)
.... India is destroying both of these great features. We WANT
INDIA to acknowledge the harm they have done to, and indeed, take proper
responsibility!
They have damaged property which they have not even yet claimed. They have
killed hundreds of men and women. They are destroying both our and their
society, and we want them to STOP! This, ladies and gentlemen, is absorb.
We, The Republic of Pakistan, on the other hand, want to take a rational
approach towards the remedy. A approach which is to everyone logical
liking as follows:
We live in a democracy, do we not, ladies and gentlemen? Pakistan is a
democracy. And what is a de .....

The Year 2050
.... President Mick Jagger to deal with the environmental issues.
President Jagger became the leader of the country when he promised the
public that he would clean up the environment and help the economy. His
first action as president was to take care of the massive droughts in the
Central United States. President Jagger had his scientists invent a new way
of seeding clouds to force rain. So, this new process of seeding the clouds
began. Before we knew it, we had a massive hole in the ozone layer right
above the United States. This hole was the result of the large amounts of
Methane produced in the new cloud seeding method .....

Personal Writing: Taking The Merkler Interest And Personality Type Self Assessment
.... that I prefer multiple choice tests and projects. I feel
that this is true because multiple choice tests and projects offer more
alternatives. These results also stated that I learn best in an open
climate that permits the free exchange of ideas and the examination of
multitudes of possibilities. I can see the truth in this statement because
I prefer having small classes in which discussions are abundant, rather
than large classes where listening is the top priority.
As a social personality type, I am very "humanistic." I am
concerned about others and love to help others. I am sensitive to the
needs and concerns of others a .....

The Murderous Miracle: Sherlock Homes - Creative Story
.... London preceding teatime.
"Well, it appears you are right! People are at work, conducting their
business and the like. I'm awfully sorry, I'm just rather irritable in the
morning."
"Quite alright my friend, it's understandable, tell me, what else do
you see at the window?" Holmes calmly stated.
"Well, Nothing out of the ordinary, as I said before, just..wait!
There is a crowd of people around a car right next to our doorstep!" I
exclaimed.
" Is the man a shady character with a dark beard and an umbrella on
his shoulder?" Holmes asked.
"Why Yes! That describes him perfectly! Who is he and how do .....

Medievel Knights: Creative Essay
.... her, I am lost."
"Sir Dolan," Rowa replied, "I am ashamed that such a strong and
distinguished warrior as yourself has given up hope of rescuing his beloved
Queen from the evil Sir Francais. I tell you, Sir, that it is not for a
man of your honor to grieve and feel pity for himself. I also tell you,
Sir, to rise up and rescue the queen. I will protect your castle with my
life while you go in search of Queen Ariah." "You are right, Sir Rowa. What
a fool I have been to allow Sir Francais to go unchallenged for the actions
he has committed. I thank you, Sir Rowa, and will leave this castle to go
in search of my queen. I le .....

Skiing - Creative Essay
.... been for the tiny
stream of gray emerging from them. At this distance, the smoke spiraled
upward like tree branches reaching for the sky.
The air was raw and stung me through my many layers of clothing.
There was snow all around me. It was on the trail and in the trees. There
was so much white, that my eyes became blinded by so much absence of color.
It was too cold to remain at the top forever, so I decided to make
my run. I gave a strong push with my poles, starting my skis sliding
gently across the snowy terrain. I kept my speed slow in order to feel out
the mountain and its changing conditions. Ahead .....

Spy Games - Creative Essay
.... my house to talk about how things
were going. Sometimes depending on the case or goal we were pursuing, the
meetings would run on into the late of night.
I guess it could be said that I was leader of our group. The meetings
were held at my house, and I was the one who brought together the present
group of agents. In the theme of espionage, we referred to everyone as an
agent. Never as a friend. However we preferred to think of our agency,
which we had given the name of the Renegades, as a collective. That is,
everybody had a say in what we did.
My bedroom was in the basement of our house, and I had the entire
basement a .....

Personal Writing: Realizing My Powers
.... and come to church. This service
helps each person in the youth group to think of others and realize the
fact that there are many unfortunate people in the community.
During my eleventh grade year, I helped to get the FCA started. We
have always had one for people to take pictures with, but we began to have
meetings and devotions. Now the FCA meets every Friday after school. I
feel that this has helped me to become a leader, and see how it is to begin
something that needs to be done. Every year my youth group also adopts a
family at Christmas. I feel good about myself when I go shopping for needy
people. We buy them things .....

Don't Just Look In Its Eyes - A Creative Story
.... his prey, forever, bonded by the life and death chase.
The fuse of life burns shorter, bringing the hunter closer, close, and
then the final intimacy of the kill!
Does the dumb beast know its fate? Can he guess its fate? Can he sense
his fate shadowing him, silently, stealthily?
He pondered his ideas and saw some tracks.
HALF A DAY BEHIND
"I wonder what his flesh will taste like. Will it be tough? Will it
bee..... AAAAACK!" Solomon gripped his hand on an icy branch. A snow
capped tree had covered the pit layed before him, a trap by the animal
which he was following.
He did nothing. He waited, pati .....
