Creative Writing: This Girl
.... own now. I am mature,
I am a man. I do get distracted real easily and my parents keep ruining my
distraction, I am upset because of that. I have my own apartment in Santa Cruz,
I live in a pardise. California has it all, beautiful beaches, pretty girls,
great bars, money, palm trees, and tons of smog. Can't live without it.
This girl really is a trip. All the things people have said about her
are true. I saw her at the tikki bar the other day, she was dressed in a suit
that had stars and stripes on it. She was looking fine. I asked her if she
wanted to go for a walk, she replied with a sexy, acceptance. The journey
started off h .....

Why I Hate The Mall
.... country? Despite the fact that the era
of eighties-decadence has passed, the malls keep coming, and they keep getting
bigger. It's like something out of an Ed Wood flick.
I remember reading an article about how bad it's gotten. The largest
mall in America has 425 retail shops, 4.2 million square feet of space, over 13
thousand free parking spaces, 44 escalators, and cost $625 million dollars to
build. Oh, did I mention that there is a full blown amusement park in the center
of it all. It's just sick. When I was in Freeport, I remember hearing a radio
show which was running a contest. The prize? A trip to the largest mall in
Am .....

Creative Writing: A Day At The Park
.... what with the hassle of getting the diaper bag packed ,
the traffic, and fighting the crowds while pushing a stroller. It was hectic,
but I survived.
Finally we were situated and ready for the game. The singing of the
national anthem was finished and we were waiting for the first pitch. All of a
sudden it hit me, for some reason I couldn't have been prouder. There I was,
holding my son and watching my childhood heroes, sharing his first major league
baseball game. Now I don't know if what I felt was brought on by television
fantasy, or just sheer pride and joy, but I do know that I felt like a million
bucks.

Creative Writing: A Dream Come True
.... as usual.
As I was boarding the bus I looked up for a vacant seat. What I saw then
was quite unbelievable. Instead of looking for an empty seat I was perving on a
beautiful woman. She looked to be in her early 20s. The most outstanding feature
she had was her attractive blue eyes. Her clear eyes did really amaze me. She
had fair smooth skin and shiny blond hair. I have never seen any one so
beautiful in my whole life. I looked at her clear blue eyes again, but this time
I realised that they were staring right back at me. I was really embarrassed.
All I managed to do was to smile. When I did, she smiled back at me. Her smile

Alone With Nature
.... of the cotton candy clouds, in the midst
of the soft blue sky. The occasional bird soars through in a last minuet attempt
to catch a worm so it may feed the yearning mouths of it's young. The rough dirt
trail ends and you are brought to the base of a rock. Your feet reach for the
unfamiliar footholds of the high rocky promontory, anxiously scrambling up the
streaky pinkish rock ready to explore any new treasures that lie beyond you.
Once on top, you gaze down and see it all- the crystal clear stream brilliantly
reflecting the sky, the vast landscape consisting of the towering trees where
the birds serenade each other and the .....

Personal Writing: An-Yang
.... colors were
made indiscernible by time, and was looking around her room. My gaze swept from
the thin, worn carpet, bare in some places, to the scarred wooden dresser, to a
dirty doll with an eye missing. (My grandmother could never bear to throw
anything away). She came and sat down next to me, taking my hand in hers. The
tight braid at the nape of her neck was coming undone. Wisps of thick black
hair framed her square face. I looked down at the contrast between our hands- my
hand was unblemished, pale and smooth, while her hand was mottled with age spots,
tanned, and leathery. She started to pat my hand in the most annoying .....

Difficulty In Making An Important Decision
.... would also cause me to lose confidence in myself. These concerns,
failure and financial, and not finding a new job made this decision very
difficult.
The decision to choose a new career was an extremely important one. The sole
function of a career is not just to provide a means to make a living; it
should have a larger purpose. The work I was doing did little for others,
and in fact, served only a small, special interest group. In addition to
pursuing a meaningful career, a career should be satisfying, and make some
significant contributions to other people's lives. Therefore, I choose to
become a teacher. It i .....

Creative Writing: An Unforgivable Choice

properly heard you lien, I'm 7” Jason said “Would you like to buy some
christmaspresents with me?” Lucinda asked. “I don't know -maybe some of the
shopasistents will recognise me, and I'm really not supposed to go with
strangers” Jason said. “Well, only you can decide if I'm a stranger” Lucinda
said very tempting.
“My feets hurt” Jason complained. “I'm sorry, I shouldn't have dragged you
with. It wasn't supposed to take so long -I swear” Lucinda excused. “Well I
should have got enough presents now, I have almost spent all my pocketmoney in
just one day! I better go home now.” “Can I come?” Jason asked. Lucinda said .....

Creative Writing: Apocalypse At The Nuclear Plant
.... better believe it because it took me an hour to comprehend what is
going on."
"What exactly IS going on?"
Jarvis explained in his own special slightly whiny voice that he chose
to break out only in large meetings but decided to give Pete the thrill of
hearing now. One of the experimental pieces of plutonium had become so unstable
that it had actually began changing form. It had undergone it's daily blast of
gamma radiation when something went wrong. Like the incredible hulk, it was
growing larger at, what would seem not that bad to the person uneducated in
nuclear physics, but to the trained mind, it was preposterous. Pete .....

The "Around The World" Party At College
.... them first come first serve.
He would fill the cups of his friends first, then the girls, and then if he had
to fill up his own cup he would. While doing this he was talking his friend
whose job it was to pump the keg when needed. People were sticking their cups
in front of the tap as if they were fighting for food, and they hadn't eaten for
days. There must of have been twenty people all forcing their cups in the
general area of the tap. Once I had my beverage, I decided to go visit the
rooms to see what kind of alcohol was being served. This party was an “around
the world party” which meant that every room had a differen .....

Creative Play: A Royal Life
.... we have every night in the castle Ingvey,
Everything! A feast of huge proportions. Bread, cheese, meat, fish, vegetables…
all made fresh by the peasants this morning. Yes, what a glorious time to live.
LAUREN: And you people (looking at the class) would you care to join us
in our feast?
THE PEASANTS LIFE:
BEEF: This is what most of the people in the renaissance lived like,
poor in spirit and in health. I am a day laborer, as is my friend Sonic. We
awake at dawn and work in the fields till dusk. We return home to our wives
and many children. Tonight is a special night for me, as I get to dine on meat,
which i .....

Personal Writing: A Schoolyard Lesson
.... to get a bit timid, but as soon as the bell
rang I felt all right.
We went through the motions for awhile: filling out paper work,
introducing ourselves, all the first day stuff. I heard a few kids say they
were new to the area, of which Brian Vedder was the only boy. He wasn't much to
look at, not a soap opera star, or a great athlete, just a regular kid.
Nonetheless I thought I'd like to meet him and talk to him later on in the day.
By this time we all were becoming restless, and I definitely knew why. Everyone
was waiting for recess, the time when kids get to have fun and let it all hang
out. After all we didn't have clas .....
