learned this would be impossible. When Polk ordered General Taylor to cross
the Nueces River and eventually to fortify on the Rio Grande, he fully

Mexicans which would leave them with no other option than to strike back.

A series of scary books for young adults led to the wildly popular
books enjoyed by many kids called Goosebumps. He has written about 250
books in his short life and plans to write many more; he tries to write two
books a month.
As a frequent reader, I think he writes really scary, but sometimes
funny, books with interesting characters, cool titles and neat plots. I

Hart Trophy as NHL'S most valuable player six times. He managed to came
back and play a few more games in his life.
Gordie got married and had a daughter named Cathy. He married
Colleen Howe. He did live in Detroit, Michigan and then in Canada. Gordie
faced retirement. That was very hard for him. He also faced returning to
the ice to play a few games in his career. Last year he played under a
minute for Detroit Vipers.

Over the years King was involved in many famous boycotts and
marches, but none of them matched his famous march in Washington. He gave a
speech that showed bigotry in the government. Now, just 20 years later, our
country is changing, and helping to change South Africa.
The key to all this success was Martin Luther King Jr. who showed
us that one man, nonviolently, could make a difference. Most of all he made
us realize that all men are created equal, and should be treated for what
they are, not limited by their appearance or anything else in this world.
