Jackie Robinson

very tuff. The team was always on the road playing games. Jackie did not
like the life style of being on the Monarchs (“Robinson, Jackie”). He and

because the Incas had the most formidable and successful military societies
of the Americas, served by generals, with inexhaustible supplies and more
than 50'000 armed soldiers8. Pizarro only had 180 men. The downfall of
the mighty empire was on August 28, 1533 when, on display in the center of
the mighty Incan capitol city, the ruler of all Incas, Atahualpa, was
strangled to death by a Spanish public executioner9.

people, at appealing prices - for cash. He would invite them to send their
orders by mail and deliver the purchases to their nearest railroad station.

Bede The Venerable

known writer of English prose. All of his work in the English vernacular
has since been lost, but he is still considered the "Father of English
Writing" and also "The Father of English History."
Bede's ultimate piece of work was his Ecclesiastical History of the
English People. This book described in detail the first authoritative
history of Christian origins in Britain. He also included details of how
five monks lived their lives in the monastery or Wearmouth and Jarrow. At

a Jew and die. Every one had fear inside of them. But in particular,
Lebeau showed his aggression on that very cold and dreary day. The great
author brought out the fear of the people awaiting their sentence and how
they reacted in the play.
