In 1985, every hour of every day an average of two to three acts of "sexual content" centered on heterosexual intercourse. Causes Of Macbeth's Downfall

This lead to the migration of African Americans. It was hard for them, because they did not want to leave their families and communities. Chicago seemed to be the most common place to go, because of the highways and trains lead straight to there. Chicago gave two big attractions, one being jobs and the other housing. These jobs mostly consisted of manufacturing, but the pay was well worth it. The housing mostly consisted of one room units called kitchenettes.

This action shows that even though she is female, she doesn’t feel the need to act feminine all of the time in order to be self-assured as a woman. She doesn’t fully throw herself into her new role though, because she knows that she will still think like a woman, and she says so herself in Act 1, Scene 3, when first contemplating the idea:
