"King Lear" And Parallel Plot - Crucial For The Play?
.... we can assume
from the play's title, Lear and his daughters are part of the main plot.
The plot of Gloucester and his sons, is considered parallel.
Gloucester is portrayed also with family problems. He experiences
trouble with his two sons, Edgar and Edmund. This parallel plot that ties
in with the main one sometimes actually comes into unison and characters
interact with each other.
The parallel plot can be taken into account as a "back-up" or
"supporting" one. It proves the point Shakespeare is trying to make in his
main plot. Gloucester's problems can be compared with Lear's and
similarities can be found very easily. Bot .....

MacBeth: Everyone Who Is Moral Has At Least One Flaw

fatal flaw was that he was too trusting. For example, he thought that none
of his friends could really be enemies. If Duncan was more careful about
his safety at MacBeth's castle, he may have had a chance to survive. But
Duncan's flaw, wasn't something so horrible that he should die. Most people
need to trust each other more, and just because one person did, he
shouldn't have to die. MacBeth's former best friend, Banquo was also killed
by MacBeth. Banquo was killed, because he knew too much about the murder of
Duncan. But that was not his fatal flaw. Banquo .....

Movie Review: Dangerous Minds
.... how two teachers
have already quit their job at this school and had given up on these
students. Many educational stereotypes are out in today's world, which
makes people believe that these students do not want to learn or just do
not care about their futures. While this may be true in some instances
many students are desperate to connect with someone who cares about them.
Life has taught them to trust no one and count on nothing so many teachers
see this as a wall on the road to teaching them. The students of urban
public schools, of who many are bused in on a daily basis for the supposed
equal opportunity, are more worried about .....

The Tempest: Drunk And More Drunk
.... us how incredibly foolish we act when we are drunk.
Of course their attempt to take on Prospero proves to be futile, instead
they play dress up with his cloaks and when Prospero shows up, Stephano and
Trinculo run for their lives and leave Calaban behind carrying the clothes
they attempted to steal.
Trinculo and Stephano were also quite amusing by being drunk
throughout the entire story, they even stated that they wouldn't drink
anything else until the wine ran out. "Tell not me. When the butt is out,
we will drink a drop of water, not a drop before."(Tempest 288)
Trinculo and Stephano also contribute to the pla .....

Mercutio was taken off guard Tybalt attacked and Mercutio was killed.
Romeo wanted to get Tybalt back for what he had done and make Mercutio's
death of some worth. Romeo used his rage and grief to slay Tybalt. All of
this had happened because of Tybalt's and Mercutio's little
misinterpretation of Romeo. Both acted without thinking or waiting for a
little sense of the matter or any kind of explanation. Two lives were
taken as
a result and one banished from his true love.
Romeo's banishment from Verona resulted in Friar Lawrence's failure

Movie Analysis: Species And Species II
.... the
acting is very well done. The only problem is that somewhere in the
Chicago city (where it was supposed to be based) they found a cave,
complete with stalectytes. It also contained a pool of acid, that caught
on fire for no reason. Other than that, this was one of the best movies
I've ever, EVER seen.
INSPIRATIONAL POEM

Yet you won't abide.
You want to walk the edge,

The Role Of Minor Conspirators
.... which so many smiling Romans bathed, signifies that
from you great Rome shall suck reviving blood, and that great men shall
press for tinctures, stains, relics, and cognizance.” (JC. II. ii. 85-90).
Decius successfully executed his role in the conspiracy which led to the
assassination of Caesar.
Another very influential minor conspirator was Cinna, who aided in
persuading Brutus to join the conspiracy. Getting Brutus involved in the
conspiracy was crucial because of his close relationship with Caesar and
his prominence with both the senators and the common people. Cinna was
assigned, by Cassius, the task of delivering a flatte .....

Unethical Behavior Role Modeling In Death Of A Salesman
.... and Happy stole lumber from a
nearby construction site. Instead of teaching the boys a lesson in ethics
Willy was proud of his sons. In fact, he bragged about the amount of
construction materials the two stole (50, 51). Willy allowed the boys to
steal, which could be considered an immoral act, worse yet, Willy's praise
for their actions prohibited Biff and Happy from knowing stealing was an
immoral act. Studies have shown that at a very young age children were
extremely impressionable. Teaching the difference between right and wrong
would give hope for a moral future. In the play there was little hope for
Biff and Happy bec .....
