Czar Nicholas II finally realized that his current economic monarchy
was holding back the development of the empire. He therefore created a
parliamentary system in 1905 which would decrease the number of strikes and

The Age Of Exploration: Europe

Vasci de Balboa was the first to push through the jungle of Central America,
On the other side he discovered a vast body of water that he named "South
Sea", because he thought that it was South of Asia. This Ocean was named
the "Pacific".
Magellan, of Portagual, founded the narrow straits at the Southern
tip of South America. It was later named the "Strait of Magellan". He was
later killed by Philippine Natives and four of his ships were destroyed.
Only one ship made it back to Spain, making it the first voyage around the
World in 1522.

The Congress Of Vienna
.... came when the control of Eastern Europe came to the table.
Alexander I of Russia was firm in that he wanted all of Poland under his
rule, Austria was not willing to give up it's share of Poland either, and
Prussia was interested in the land of Saxony. This conflict came to it's
height and there was even the fear that a new war might erupt over the
control of these lands. This was changed by the clever Talleyrand, who
represented France, he suggested that Austria and England might ally
themselves to take the land that was up for debate. Under fear, Prussia
and Russia both gave in and there was an equal distribution of land.

Three Periods Of European History Where Attitudes Towards Women's Education Changed

The next age, the Reformation and the catholic Reformation, saw a
dramatic and conservative change toward the attitudes of education for
women. Martin Luther, a leader of the Reformation, was quoted as saying
that God made men with broad shoulders to do all the intelligent, and women
with broad hips to do the "sitting" and housework. Agreeing with Martin
Luther, was Emond Auger, a French Jesuit, who said "there is no need for
women to take time out from their work and read the Old and New Testament"
and also that "Women must be silent in church".

History Of The World
.... of agriculture about 9,000 B.C. brought about a great
revolution in human life. Prehistoric people who learned to farm no longer
had to roam in search of food. Instead, they could settle in one place.
Some of their settlements grew to become the world's first cities. People
in the cities learned new skills and developed specialized occupations.
Some became builders and craftworkers. Others became merchants and priests.
Eventually, systems of writing were invented. These developments gave rise
to the first civilizations.

World War 2
.... War 2.
Although there are many other reasons, he was definitely one of them.
Another reason was the Treaty of Versailles. This was the treaty that was
signed at the end of World War 1. This treaty outlined the rules that
Germany must follow because of their defeat by Britain and France. Many
Germans were angered by the treaty, for most of the rules in the treaty
were unfair and Germany lost a great amount of wealth. One of the cruelest
reasons for the war was Hitler's racist hate for Jews. He would send them
off in cattle cars to places called concentration camps were they would be
slaughtered by the thousands.

Chernobyl
.... that there is a problem. The government of the Soviet Union was
the owner of the nuclear power plant in Chernobyl. When there was a problem,
the government immediately sent soldiers to surround the plant and only two days
later did they evacuate the surrounding town of Pripyat, but by then it was
already much too late. The effects of radiation do not take a long time to occur.
In adults, it is severe but not a severe as it is in children. In children,
radiation sickness can and will effect the thyroid glands. This can lead to
many different kinds of cancer and most likely more than one will effect the
body at once.

French Revolution
.... 1791 were written. Some of these changes include
freedom of speech , due process under law, equality under law. It also enabled
the creation of a laissez-fairre economic policy, with a free market and free
trade.
I believe that this revolution was inevitable due to the conditions that
the majority of the population was living under. It will also have a lasting
impact because the Constitution will protect these rights.

Persian Gulf Crisis
.... the Iranian troops and even on their own Iraqi population. This was
seemingly overlooked by the rest of the world because most nations didn't want
to see the Ayatollah's Islamic revolution rise. Iraq often obtained foreign arms
support from other nations because of this. It wasn't until the invasion of
Kuwait that the rest of the world seemed to realize the danger that Iraq posed
to its own people and to the Arab states surrounding it. Through poor planning,
Saddam Hussein made three major mistakes that enabled an easy defeat of the
Iraqis.

The Aztec Empire History

with a canoe tied at the door. In the early 1400s, Tenochtitlan joined with
Texcoco and Tlacopan, two other major cities in the Valley of Mexico.

The Aztecs
.... the Aztecs performed cannibalism, believing they absorb the virtues of
the slain. The sacrificed people were thought to be given a high place in heaven.
The average Aztec was a farmer. He lived outside the city and grew crops for his
tribe. Farming was the most important means of survival due to the warm, humid
climate. They lived in small huts. The male was the head of the family. He would
often arrange marriages for their children. The language they spoke was the
Nahuan language that originated from the west coast of the united states. They

D-Day
.... greatest battle in history.
By June of 1944 the landing forces were training hard, awaiting D-Day.
1,700,000 British, 1,500,000 Americans, 175,000 from Dominions (mostly Canada),
and another 44,000 from other countries were going to take part.
Not only did men have to be recruited and trained but also equipment had to be
built to transport and fight with the soldiers. 1,300 warships, 1,600 merchant
ships, 4,000 landing craft and 13,000 aircraft including bombers, fighters and
gliders were built. Also several new types of tanks and armoured vehicles were
