Into The Depths Of A Black Hole
.... Oxygen, and Helium are consumed.
This chain reaction fuels the star for millions, or billions, of years
depending upon the amount of gases there are. The star manages to avoid
collapsing at this point because of the equilibrium achieved by itself. The
gravitational pull from the core of the star is equal to the gravitational pull
of the gases forming a type of orbit, however when this equality is broken the
star can go into several different stages. Usually if the star is small in mass,
most of the gases will be consumed while some of it escapes. This occurs
because there is not a tremendous gravitational pull upon th .....

Comets
.... believe that all comets were formed of material,
originally in the outer part of the solar system, which did not become
incorporated into planets. This material is from when the planets just started
forming. This makes comets an extremely interesting topic to scientists who are
studying the history of the solar system.
In comparison to planets, comets are very small. They can be anywhere
from 750 meters (or less) to 20 kilometers in diameter. However, lately,
scientists have been finding proof that there are comets 300 kilometers in
diameter or greater.
Comets are still compared to the planets, though. Planets usually

Nuclear Power
.... eleven percent of the world's electricity. There are around 316
nuclear power plants in the world that create 213,000 megawatts of electricity.
(INFOPEDIA) Radioactive, or nuclear, waste is the by-product of nuclear fission.
Fission occurs when atoms' nucleus' split and cause a nuclear reaction. (General
Information) When a free neutron splits a nucleus, energy is released along
with free neutrons, fission fragments that give off beta rays, and gamma rays.
A free neutron from the nucleus that just split splits another nucleus. This
process continues on and is called a chain reaction. (World Book vol. 14, 588)

Preserve The Forests
.... to produce one and at the rate that the human
population is increasing, there is not enough land to have a secure place for a
new forest.
If we realize that it is best for the human race to stop destroying the
natural resources, then we must destroy, too, the existence of loggers all
together. To do so, there must not be any new loggers, so all training
potential loggers must be stopped. The current loggers must be diverted to
another occupation. Perhaps if the public supported the notion of stopping
clear-cutting, the government would be able to provide services to educate the
loggers in a different field. Also, with .....

Acid Rain
.... lake is
often quite difficult. A lake does not become acid over night. It happens over a
period of many years, some times decades. The changes are usually to gradual for
them to be noticed early.
At the beginning of the 20th century most rivers/lakes like the river
Tovdal in Norway had not yet begun to die. However by 1926 local inspectors were
noticing that many of the lakes were beginning to show signs of death. Fish were
found dead along the banks of many rivers. As the winters ice began to melt off
more and more hundreds upon hundreds more dead fish (trout in particular) were
being found. It was at this time that scienti .....

Cloning
.... calls
from reporters were coming in asking about this market. I feel that now would
be a great time to invest in biotechnical companies specializing in agricultural
and medicinal cloning. This article says nothing about the great potentials of
long term investment. Long term investment especially in the medicinal field is
incredibly profitable. Just as in other controversial investing opportunities I
feel that investors will find they could have made a lot of money if they
invested in this area. Ten to fifteen years from now this agricultural cloning
will be a commonly routine thing and price wars will begin for the product .....

Dinosaurs
.... lb., and few weighed less than 100 lb. Most were
herbivores, but some saurischians were carnivorous. The majority were four-
footed but some ornithischians and all carnivores walked on their hind legs.
Always classified as reptiles, dinosaurs have traditionally been assumed
to have been reptilian in their physiology, cold-blooded, and ectothermic. In
recent years several different lines of evidence have been interpreted as
indicating that dinosaurs may have had warm blood and high rates of metabolism,
comparable to birds and mammals. Evidence supporting this view includes upright
posture and carriage; mammallike microscopi .....

Egyptians
.... to be legitimate and convincing. But that is a very narrow-minded
way to look at things. The idea that life can flourish only under terrestrial
conditions has been made obsolete by research. It is a mistake to believe
that life cannot exist without water and oxygen. Even on our own earth there
are forms of life that need no oxygen. They are called anaerobic bacteria.
A given amount of oxygen acts like poison on them. Why should there not be
higher forms of life that do not need oxygen?\par We are still convinced that
our earth is the center of everything, although it has been proved that the
earth is an ordinary star of in .....

Perception: Seeing Is Believing - UFOs
.... looking for a more
scientific definition disregard UFO's as nothing more than a mere
misinterpretation of a plane, weather balloon, or meteor. Some have gone so far
as to say that specific witnesses to UFO's have seen nothing more than a
hallucination and "wanted" to see a UFO so their minds adapted that idea into an
illusion to satisfy the urge.
Personally, I have had two encounters with unexplainable objects in the
sky and to disregard them as a misinterpretation or hallucination is an
impossibility. Witnesses who were with me on one of the occasions saw exactly
what I did and we concluded it impossible to be anything but unex .....
