The Flea: Analysis
.... bound to abide by the principals of her religion. His argument is to put down the religion by saying even the flea is mixing our blood, so why shouldn't we? That suggests that the flea is one of God's creatures and so it should follow the principals of God as well because it was created by God, so the mixing of their blood isn't wrong.

Haughton: Am I A Gryphon Or A Queen?
.... analyze the complete meaning of a book, ripping it apart page by page until they come into this complete feeling of self-actualization. Anyway, there are so many more types of reading styles out there, so many combinations. So the answer to the question as whether I am a Gryphon or a Queen, I would say neither but I'll go with the nearest. I am a Gryphon of sorts I presume.

You Should Really Read This Poem

Easter 1916 By William Yeats
.... in which the overall constancy is maintained. This constant is the underlying strive of the stone to disrupt the stream enough to cause a response that will favor the stone’s well being, that is independence. Indeed the disturbances and splashing caused by the animals represents the actual reality of the revolts in Ireland. First, is the Easter rebellion of 1916 and following World War I there was constant fighting which leads to independence from Britain.

Porphyrias Lover
.... I feel that Porphyria is definitely in love with him, but seems to be too weak to act seriously on her feelings. Porphyria traveled at night in a storm to meet her Lover which shows that she is certainly interested and devoted to him.
I also think they are having an affair because the poem is called "Porphyria's Lover". It would explain why the relationship was so clandestine.
Her Lover was not sure if Porphyria truly loved him. When he discovered that she did he killed her so they would always be together.
Is the poem uttered by one speaker who is not the poet at a critical time?

Masochism In Edgar Allen Poe
.... to test the paltry friendship and gossamer fidelity of mere Man ( The Black Cat 80) This citation I just went over shows how he loves his animals, but it also shows how he is foreshadowing. How he love the animals as pals, but how he also loves to abuse the animals. He loves to inflict pain on the animals because that is the way he shows his love. By seeing others in pain, he feels guilty, but he likes feeling that way. Because he is a masochist.
He also shows how he feels guilty for this observed behavior is he goes out and gets drunk for feeling this way. And he comes home and inflicts the pain on the things he loves. .....

Poetry Analysis: Holmes' Old Ironsides
.... but also a success for the battleship. This poem was written in such a way that people like me 100 years later can still see the point that he is trying to show us. This was one of the things that the Fireside poets were known for, writing in such a manner that the common man could understand it. The poem Old Ironsides was truly a great poem that made Holmes a star and also fits him with the other Fireside poets.
