what it is and how to use it.
Think. Thinking critically and acting logically to evaluate situations
will get you far in your job. Thinking skills consists of things such as
solving mathematical problems, using new technology, instruments, tools, and
information systems effectively. Some examples of these would be technology,
physical science, the arts, skilled trades, social science, and much more.
Learn. Learning is very important for any job. For example, if your
company, gets some new software, you must be able to learn how to use it,

The US Economy Is In A Growth Spurt
.... toll on employment and consumer purchasing power."
In spite of all these short-term woes that we're faced with, Yardeni is
still quite optimistic about our economic future. He recently published a
report entitled "10,000 in 2,000" which is very positive.
He believes that the end of the cold war is a definite plus. He went on
to say that "no economy in the world can match America's ability to adjust
to the new realities, he says, citing the US' flexible labor force among
other factors." He also thinks that the long term government bonds will be
a great investment.
In the November 27, 1995 issue of Berrons, an arti .....

Foreign 'Aid'?
.... bribes and
by buying military support.
The US alone has spent over twenty billion dollars in the past
twenty years. Between surplus tax dollars and the money we would save from
not paying foreign aid, we could pay back the national debt in a very short
time. We can accomplish this exponentially, by other countries paying back
their debt to us and our money from taxes we can have our debt paid by the
year 2000(1). Yet our government is set on sending our hard earned tax
dollars to other countries to be used for the construction of a dictator's
palace. Besides the national debt, if the money was given back to the
people, then .....

Economic Development In Zimbabwe
.... development in this country are readily apparent.
This model can be useful in understanding underdevelopment in other so
called "third-world" countries and in determining what is necessary for
these countries to make the transition to industrialization.
Geography
Zimbabwe is a landlocked country in the southern, sub-Saharan area of the
African continent bordered by South Africa to the South, Botswana to the
West, Mozambique to the East and Zambia to the North. With an area of
391,090 km2 Zimbabwe is only slightly larger than the state of Colorado.
Harare is Zimbabwe's capital and largest city with a population of
1,100,000. Conta .....

Maquila Work As Empowerment
.... to most it is still bringing women into the work
force and giving them means to be more independent , which is a form of
empowerment, however small an improvement it may seem. It entices these
young girls to strive for more. They no longer want to work in the home,
they want to go into the factories like their mothers and be more
independent. I feel that, that kind of employment is a gateway for even
more women's empowerment, because it exposes them to different kinds of
life styles. Or, this can also compel them to strive for even more, having
seen how their mothers have struggled to support a family on such a meager
wage.

Living The American Dream
.... I would
be honored if I was voted this. He is an inspiring actor because of this.
He is a great role model for young children and they look up to him. I
think when children sees what Will Smith has accomplished they imagine
themselves accomplishing the same goals. I believe that Will Smith stands
out from the rest. Not because he is the best actor, because he is not, and
not because he has millions of dollars, but because he is a role model for
younger children. Children see that Will Smith is living a great life and
they begin to hope that their own life can be as good as his has been.
Anothe person that is living the American .....

Collective Bargaining In The Workplace
.... the comprehensive collective agreement for a
term the normal concomitant of collective bargaining. It requires each
party to think into the future, to anticipate situations and to determine
solutions before situations arise. It requires the making of policy - which,
when agreed upon, becomes the collective agreement.
The heart of the collective agreement - indeed, of collective
bargaining - is the process for continuous joint consideration and
adjustment of plant problems. And it is this feature which indicates the
difference between the collective labour agreement and commercial contracts
generally. Commercial contracts .....

Charles Lazarus And The History Of Toys R Us
.... forties and early fifties,
Charles Lazarus anticipated the baby boom because many soldiers were being
discharged from the Army and were beginning to start families. In 1948, he
borrowed $2,000 and started his first business, selling baby furniture.
His first shop was 40 feet by 60 feet, filled with cribs and baby furniture.
After two years of operation, Lazarus realized that many customers had
been asking if he stocked baby toys, to which he always replied "no." It
was at this point that he realized "the customers want toys."
To begin with, Lazarus stocked only a few infant toys. As the
customers' kids grew and their needs bec .....

Gateway 2000, Inc
.... low; this will tell you the highest and
lowest that the stock has been in the last five years. The P-E ratio is
just a simple price to earnings ratio, saying that you spend and receive
this much. Sales 100's are how many of the stock was traded in 100's. So
12 would be 12 x 100 = 1200. Next you have the Weakly high and low, again,
which is just a high and low price for the week. Last is the price that it
ended at the day before, and change is how much it changed from the prior
day. The category End is what it ended at that day. That is your basic
walk through of a stock quote.
Gateway, as I said still has a bright future ahe .....

The Benefits Of N.A.F.T.A.
.... done could not be recovered.
I personally think NAFTA is a benefactor to the environment that we
are living in right now. Despite the fact of the small chance that our
environment might be damaged due to signatory defying the agreement (Not
many signatory would not want to spend extra money or be sentenced to jail
because of some environmental crisis)Think about how more people could be
hired, and having the goods made in our own country instead of paying
extras for those imports. We are moving towards a more scientific age, I
believe our technologies is going to reach to the point that we could
resolve the problems re .....

China's Economic Future Outlook
.... rich. He also introduced the "open-door policy" which is
proving to be very beneficial, as they follow in the footsteps of their
strong rich neighbours. Mr. Perkins believed four conditions must be met
for a market system to work well in reforming centrally planned economy. I
believe if China continues to improve its productivity, and the number of
monopolies decrease as studies show, China will move into a capitalist
front only to prosper. An Inflationary crisis within two years will test
the government's reformist mettle:
The 14th Communist Party Congress, set the official seal on the fourth
wave of economic reform. Mar .....
