Questionable Heros In The Play Julius Caesar
.... As he speaks
to Octavius, though, he shows that he is mainly after the power also in saying
that the third person of their new triumvirate, Lepidus, is not a worthy
adversary and is only good enough to carry messages. Antony goes on to say that
they should have him (Lepidus) killed, along with all the other people they were
making a list of. He was going to have them eliminated just because they might
stand in their way to gaining complete power. He also ordered to have figured a
way to cut some of the money out of the will to the people and keep it for
himself. His intentions weren't so good after all.

Reality Vs. Illusion
.... evil characters and he is a character who stands out among all of the
Shakespeare characters. Iago uses his skill to gain revenge and take advantage
of people who he believes deserves this sort of punishment.
Iago uses this revenge in many occasions, one in particular he
talks to Othello about Casssio and makes Othello believe that Cassio is sleeping
with Othello's wife Desdemona. This is definitely not the truth but Iago talks
in such a way that Othello has no choice but to believe him. Iago also plants
Desdemona's handkerchief in Cassio's cabin knowing that Othello will eventually
find it. Iago uses persuasive words t .....

Re-educating A King: King Lear's Self-Awareness
.... foreshadow
situations that an ignorant Lear is completely oblivious to. This is evident in
act 1, scene 1, when a prodding Fool asks the king if he knows the difference
between a bitter fool and a sweet fool. When Lear admits that he does not, the
Fool attempts to lay it all out in front of him:
That lord which councelled thee
To give away thy land,
Come place him here by me;
Do thou for him stand.
The sweet and bitter fool
Will presently appear;
The one in motley here,
The other found out there.

Hamlet: Revenge
.... "Tis
given out that, sleeping in my orchard,/ a serpent stung me˛ (1.5, 36) but it
was not a snake that the ghost is referring to. The spirit wanted the prince to
avenge his murder.
All was quiet in the kingdom until the start of Hamlet's supposed
insanity. The Prince was with his mother talking when the prince noticed
someone in the room. Hamlet thought it was Claudius, "How now? A rat? Dead
for a ducat, dead! " (3.4,25) Indeed Hamlet killed someone; but it was not
Claudius, twas Polonius who was slain.
Time had gone by and supposedly Hamlet was getting worse, so Claudius
decided to send Hamlet to an asylum .....

Hamlet: Revenge Or Scruples?
.... it in privacy. Hamlet follows, despite the protests of the others, who fear
it may be an evil spirit, disguising as King Hamlet in order to gain their trust.
Horatio suggests that it may lead him astray and then "assume some other
horrible form / Which might deprive your sovereignty of reason / And draw you
into madness..." (I, iv, 80-82). Hamlet insists on listening to the message of
the ghost. Although he does not state it, perhaps Hamlet subconsciously
considers that Horatio is right, that the ghost is indeed a false messenger sent
to trouble him.
Hamlet does not kill Claudius immediately following his encounter with
the ghost .....

Richard III
.... despot rulers rule, but it fails to explain why and how these
motives originate in the human mind.
In order to comprehend why such a high level of fear and insecurity can
be brought about, a look at the upbringing and personal life of Richard should
be brought into discussion. One of three brothers, Richard was in constant
competition of who would succeed in gaining the throne of England. Richard,
like his other brothers, wanted the title of king quite badly, but as time
pressed on it seemed less likely that Richard would succeed in gaining the
throne. His shrewd attitude and a physical deformity, that left him nearly

Romeo And Juliet: Tragedy, Love Story Or Both?
.... for each other is ultimately very frustrating. It's
"Guess Who's Coming To Dinner" style.
The tragedy of Tybalt's death. Another result of the family fight, this was a
tragedy for all involved, the Capulets and the Montagues, because Romeo was
banished from Verona. The blight of the messenger not getting to Romeo in time.
Romeo just missing Juliet awakening is surely a tragedy. To me this is one of
the most frustrating things in the play, because if he just waited two minutes
longer...
And lastly, the death of Juliet. It is sad that she felt she had to take her own
life to be with the one she truly loved.

Romeo And Juliet As A Tragedy
.... Capulet; his family's sworn enemy. The
Montagues and the Capulets have been feuding for many years. Romeo is a
Montague and he is born into the feud. He does not like it and he feels that
it is a waste. Romeo has to disobey his family so he can be with Juliet.
In this play, Romeo's tragic flaw is that he is always melancholy,
miserable, and downcast, and Romeo is always in love, and when he falls in love,
he falls hard. Romeo is depressed over Rosaline. Romeo is very disheartened
over her and it seems he has been like this for some time already. Montague
tells us this when he says Romeo “…Shuts up his windows, locks fair d .....

Romeo And Juliet: The Theme Of Death
.... feelings are mutual to Romeo's.
After Juliet wakes up from her death like coma she sees Romeo's dead
corpse and notices that he had never got the message from the friar. "O churl!
Drunk all, and left no friendly drop to help me after? I will kiss his lips.
Haply some poison yet doth hang on them. To make me die with a restorative."
The next quote shows how the poison has no effect on Juliet, and how she is so
desperate to be with Romeo she will stab herself. "O happy dagger! [Snatches
Romeo's dagger.] This is thy sheath; there rust, and let me die. [She stabs
herself and falls.] These quote all show Romeo and Juliet .....
