Shakespeare drives his intent with the use of several recurrent themes within Macbeth. Nothing is ever what it appears to be in the play and therefore the theme of appearance versus reality is introduced. For example, the witches’ predictions in Act IV of the play seem to have a positive outlook for Macbeth and his future as king. Ferris Bueller’s Day Off
.... his girlfriend, Sloane Peterson, and his best friend, Cameron Frye, take the day off school to gallivant around Chicago. The trio has an interesting day around the city. Numerous times there are close calls with them nearly getting caught. Sears Tower, Cubs game, lunch at a fancy restaurant, Commodities Exchange, and the Art Institute are just a few of the places they visit while enjoying their day off. During the day, we see the three of them grow slightly, and we see them come to realizations about who they are. In the end, Ferris has a successful day off, and his two nemeses fail in their attempts to thwart him.

Macbeth: A Shallow And Weak Man
.... from making evil choices. He also fears his friend Banquo, a truly honorable man. Banquo is a good example of a decent man, he is both caring and a courageous friend. Do any of Macbeth's fears make him decent or gentle?
Macbeth is a very brave and noble leader, but this has nothing to do with what kind of man he is. Macbeth is a very shallow and weak man who is easily influenced by the opposite sex. The analysis calls him a courageous and decent man. He shows courageousness but in no way does he prove to also be decent. He may show some decency but not enough to be called noble or decent as a man.

The Television Show "Friends" Teaching Viewers A Lesson
.... into my brain never forgetting it. The desire for me to learn from this show is quite intense and astonishing; it is like going to school everyday and acquiring the knowledge I need to know. Even though, this show proves to be brain food that I need daily, seeing the show in one thing, but going deeper then just the show itself. I mean seriously listening to what the actors say and how they perform in the show tells someone loads of vital information. So this show attracts me in a highly urgent way in asserting significant lessons that should be learned.

A Street Car Named Desire
.... Belle Reve to come to New Orleans. Blanche now comes to New Orleans saying that Belle Reve is lost but doesn’t explain how. Stanley thinks that Blanche is lying and he wants to know where the papers of the house are but Blanche gets off the subject. When Blanche and Stanley were having a conversation she told her sister, Stella, to go to the store and get her a drink. I thought this was kind of rude because she was demanding her sister to go get her a drink. Blanche didn’t act appropriately when she came to New Orleans to visit her sister Stella.

Macbeth: Lady Macbeth Uses Others As A Shield For Guilt

Another less obvious place where Lady Macbeth uses others to shield her guilt is when Banquo is murdered. Both MacBeth and Lady MacBeth discuss their fear of Banquo knowing too much, and Lady MacBeth resolves to do nothing and leaves the chore up to her husband. After finding out about it, Lady MacBeth tells herself it wasn't her fault, but deep inside she knows it is just as much her as it is MacBeth who killed Banquo,

Macbeth: A Shakespearean Tragic Hero
.... his loyalty towards Duncan in that he would fight for his King. As the play continued Macbeth’s flaw becomes even more visible. His ambition for power would not go unnoticed. The author first gives a hint at the character’s ambition when Macbeth mentions, “[Aside] Glamis, and Thane of Cawdor. The greatest is behindº” (Act I, Scene III, Line 116-117). This is the first indication of Macbeth’s ambition towards the king’s thrown. Macbeth has not made any reference of killing the king but he seems like anything can persuade him and he is already starting to put in faith into the witches prophecies.
