The Great Gatsby
F. Scott Fitzgerald, author of the modern literary classic "The Great Gatsby", was not what most people would call an up person. He had a rather dim view of humanity in general, and this was reflected in his writing and most of the characters in the book. By examining these characters, one can see that each one is flawed almost fatally, and this causes mayhem, jealousy, infidelity, and ultimately death.
