Growing up as a Negro in the South in the early 1900’s is not that easy, for some people tend to suffer different forms of oppression. In this case, it happens in the autobiography called Black Boy written by Richard Wright. The novel is set in the early part of the 1900’s, somewhere in deep Jim Crow South.
