To help inform more people about the Indian tribes of the northwest more specifically the Quinault Indian Tribe. The largest and most important Salish people on the Pacific shore of Washington State, living mainly in the valley of the Quinault Rive and near Taholah, the site of their principal village. They remained fairly isolated until the quinault River Treaty of 1855 and the establishment of their reservation. They probably numbered over 1,000 at the time....
