The First Amendment
" Congress Shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or
prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech,
or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, or to
petition the government for a redress of grievances."
The First amendment as stated above is a very important part of our
history and our lives as we live them today. It took a lot to get there
though and came out of the ideas of some confused and some not so confused
people.
