What is a Luxury? What is a luxury? Is it a good thing or is it a bad thing? Most people can describe what a luxury is, but the World Book Dictionary gave me an accurate definition. A luxury is defined as the comforts and beauties of life beyond what is really necessary. Immediately, most luxuries that I think of relate to the latest technology in the world. Computers, cd players, cellular phones, and all sorts of nifty little gadgets are all luxuries to me. Again, they are not necessary and anyone can live without them; however, becoming dependent upon them is the life we choose to live. Once a person obtains a luxury, a sense of attachment occurs.
