Freedom of Speech?
The First Amendment guaranties us the “freedom of speech”. The
terminology “freedom of speech” seems ambiguous. Generally speaking, it
allows us to express our opinions and interact with other people. Does
this mean that we can say whatever we want? Whenever we want to? The
answer is “N” “O” - NO.
One may argue that speech is a divined gift from God and therefore,
cannot be deprived by anyone. This is very true. It is also true that we
don’t have the right to harm other people. The Declaration of
Independence says, “men are created equal, that they are endowed by their
