One Afternoon
Ryan and I were the closest of friends. Our childhood lives were filled with a never-ending number of adventures. Getting out of the house was our favorite thing to do, not because we were avoiding a fear from being inside or because we were prisoners of any sort, but because our curious minds would never stop questioning everything around us. We never seemed to be content with the gifts from my parents - two curious elementary students sitting lifelessly in front of a television for a whole day, pushing buttons on a video game controller didn't do it for us- "actual reality" was what the two of us preferred.
