Even though the movies 12 angry men argued the same case, there were some important differences.
First, one example between the two films was the racial differences. In the 1957 version, there was an all white-man jury to decide whether the boy was guilty or not. The boy was also white and seemed immature like he did not know what was going on. The boy was convicted of killing his father. Out of the all-white jury, only one man thought he was innocent. There was a doubt in his mind that there was just no way that this had committed murder. They argued and argued and argued for hours until....
