In the play, Death of a Salesman, Linda Loman is the character that is at fault for the downfall of her two son’s, Happy and Biff, and her husband Willy. Linda is a controlling mother figure who doesn’t allow her family members to become any better than they already are. This is why she is the cause of their demise.
