A&P is a story about a clerk named Sammy. Sammy is eighteen almost nineteen year old boy that is a junction in his life. He isn't sure in what he really want to do. The story starts off with three girls that walk in with bathing suits on. The girls are really gorgeous and stop all the workers from working. Sammy is overtaken by all of the girl's beauty. After the girl's are done their getting their one thing they wanted, they go through the till. Lengel, the manager, approached them after and told them that what they were wearing was inappropriate in the store. Lengel embarrassed the girls but his reasoning for doing it was....
